Stoke Newington의 아름다운 오래된 묘지로 산책이나 고독한 명상 또는 약간의 분위기에 적합합니다.
This cemetery is a little known gem located in the Stoke Newington neighborhood. The grounds are completely overgrown with trees and plants, which makes for an eerily beautiful experience. The tombstones are cracked and uneven due to the wild plant growth all around them, and there are random paths through woods and bushes. Come here in the spring or summer to witness the cemetery at it's most beautiful. Among other famous folks, the founder of the Salvation Army is buried here. In the back of the cemetery there is an old abandoned church that is a bit spooky and may give you chills. FYI: this park is a known gay cruising ground and it appears to be a popular place for people to get their drug fix on. Don't go here alone. There are usually random, shady men wandering the cemetery, and parts of the trails feel a bit remote. Bring a friend and you'll be sure to enjoy this beautiful, eery place.
One of London's lesser known cemeteries, but a secret gem. Now a nature reserve, its an amazing place to wander at any time of year reading the gravestones, buts is at its most atmospheric during a snowy winter, when snow collects on the stones and statues. Popular with dog walkers too
