From the moment we arrived at Danesfield House, we were treated extremely well. All of the staff were very helpful and could not do enough for us, even carrying our luggage to our room. Our room had a beautiful view over the river Thames and hotel gardens and the four poster bed was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and clean and their were plenty of towels and toiletries. I had booked a treatment in the Spa for my wife and all of the staff were amazing. The Spa itself was very nice, and although the jacuzzi was out of action, this did not spoil the experience at all. Finally, our breakfast was wonderful. We were greeted and shown to our seats immediately. Our order was taken for our choice of breakfast by a lovely waitress and coffee and toast was brought to us by an absolutely wonderful waiter who had the biggest smile that never left his face the entire time we were in the restaurant. He was extremely polite and just made you smile with his infectious enthusiasm for the ”fabulous filter coffee” and the ”terrific toast” (his words, not mine) that he served us. I just wish I had his name to include with this review as he deserves a special mention. Overall it was a fantastic experience and the right choice of hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday. We will definitely be coming back.

This hotel looks beautiful from outside with a lovely ground and impressive entrance, but however, I found the room & common area not so impressive  they need to give it a face lift to deserve the room rate. Especially with a high bathtub it’s quite dangerous as it’s slippery when you step into it to have a shower, even with the rubber mat on it , luckily I brought along my rubber slipper, which I can use to have a shower to prevent from slipping . Our room included breakfast, buffet table selection of food were poor, and the quality of food was not great even with basic smoke salmon it looks stale & the cooked breakfast was ok not impressive. The front desk reception staff were not helpful with problem . But the manager at the front desk was very helpful when we checked out , after hearing our comments about the problem he took note said he’ll look into the problem & told us to contact him when decide to stay with them next time. I do appreciate his helpfulness & trying to make the best of the situation, Cliveden Hotel should treasure him as the hotel manager.

매일 하우스 키핑, 수영장 + 체육관 + 사우나 무료 이용, 멋진 직원, 무료 넓은 주차장, 여분의 베개, 넓은 객실, 엘리베이터 이용. 유일한 나쁜 점은 욕조가 약간 작고 샤워 커튼이 사용 후 나쁜 냄새가 난다는 것입니다.

We returned to Escapades as a family and once again loved the overall experience. The vibe is fantastic, the swimming pool is a real highlight, and the accommodation is stylish and comfortable. That said, the restaurant service could use a little fine tuning. We had a vegan in our party who ordered the vegan roast in The Gallery, as listed on the menu. Unfortunately, it was initially served with a large Yorkshire pudding, non vegan gravy, and vegetables that had not been separated from the buttered options served to the rest of the table. On a positive note, the roast beef was excellent. The vegan dish was taken away and corrected quickly, which we appreciated. Overall, a great stay with just a small area for improvement in the dining experience.

Very friendly and courteous service at the Reception. Got an Early check in without hesitation an without having to pay extra. Good ambience. Beautiful lake view. Would love to stay there again.

Overall nice hotel. The thing that I liked a lot straight away is that aroma - i think they use some really nice professional aromas there. The room was clean and spacious 10/10 for the room. Great reception staff. People are really nice there. The let down for us was non-working jacuzzi and freezing pool..(they had a boiler.broken unfortunately). Steamroll was amazingly hot however. Overall good stay. Bear in mind if you are not driving, you would be a bit stuck with getting any extra bits you might need for the evening.

Had a great stay on this wonderful private island. Perfect for couples. Splurge on the Temple Terrace Rooms if it is within your budget. Rooms are small, but that is to be expected as the buildings are from days of old, though nicely restored and maintained. Enjoyed our meals and the drinks at the bar. Also had lovely hour out on the Thames with the rented boat that easily accomodates 6 people. Such an oasis of quiet and luxury. Very close to the Michelin fine dining village of Bray. I would return without hesitation.

Very lovely welcome and flexible allowing slightly earlier book in to enable us to get ready for a wedding. Room clean and breakfast was great.

Stayed in a room which barely had a window. It was in the eaves. It was well lit but gave me claustrophobia due to the lack of window. Room did not appear to be the one we booked. The photos looked different. Breakfast ok but no self service

看圖片訂的皇家四柱房 到了之後發現這個房型每間長得都不一樣 不過好在也蠻漂亮 房間到晚上衹有枱燈 衞生間沒有手持的淋浴衹有在頭頂上的 蠻不方便 酒店沒什麼玩的 住一晚足夠了
