This was genuinely a wonderful and most special place. The Rocksalt Rooms are in a separate building to the Restaurant - but you check in at the latter and walk you over. Note all the streets here are cobbled, which can be slippery when wet. They are a real BoltHole as they are described, and there are only four total. 2 on 1st floor, 2 on 2nd floor, with one per floor harbour facing. I'd definitely suggest that the upgrade is worth it. The rooms are compact but exceptionally well presented. I've odd little niggles, theres no bedside of any kind - floating shelf would work, where do you put your mobile? And the metal bed frame is ornate and was loose on the footboard. The biggest challenge is where to put things. There are a few hangers on the back of the door and a small set of hooks, but not a drawer or proper place at all. I get space is a real premium here - bedside with 2 drawers all you need! The wet room is compact as everyone says. You won't keep the floor area outside the shower dry, it's not possible. The sink is a corner one with no space to place things but there is shelf in the bathroom for all your luxuries. The body wash / conditioner / hand soap / hand moisturiser are great quality. Noise - it's by the Harbour so they start early, but for us it was part of the charm of the location, the fresh fish smell was totally incredible. Breakfast is not to be missed, across in the restaurant with the best view, it's harbour side. Loved the granola, yoghurt, compote starter. I had English Breakfast as I was hungry, it was great quality but disappoining - it was more style over substance. The bacon is cooked to crispy, not my style at all but great quality. He had the Salmon & Eggs and it won hands down. Local, fresh, decent portion, on wonderful Sourdough. Luckily I was saved a bite. A point or two more - the bedside light fused the circuit and the room was plunged into darkness. Looked for fuse box, could not find. Ended up in Restsurant. They had to get keys to a location they used to own but don't now (ground floor of the Rooms building). This took a while as the keys had to be obtained. I get how this used to work, but not now - the fuse box needs moving. The if we cant fix option was check out and refund - erm no!! There is the most incredible Team member behind the Bar/ Restaurant from Bulgaria whose name I have really tsckily forgotten. For which I apologise. She is truly wonderful and made the visit for me, id return solely to see her again!!! Overall we loved Rocksalt Rooms and would return, to have dinner in the restaurant too! 나는 정말로 즐거운 숙박을했다. 호텔에 관한 모든 것이 편안했고 (내 침대와 다른 침대에 있기 때문에) 잠을 잘 자지 못했지만 불평 할 수있는 것은 없었습니다. 직원들은 훌륭했고 아침 식사는 괜찮 았고 (요리 된 아침 식사, 패스트리, 토스트, 시리얼 및 과일 선택) 그 유명한 쿠키로 인사합니다! :)

The room was bigger than expected and had a patio to sit out on, the bed was comfy and everything is situated a short walk from the mews rooms. I did notice the bathroom was a bit dirty and the hot water for the shower went completely this morning. The maintenance man had to come out and fix the boiler to rectify the issue. The location is absolutely stunning and the gardens are well kept. It is really a beautiful part of the UK and the main manor building is lovely. The gardenia restaurant is closed a few days of the week for dinner and also breakfast which I didn’t think was ideal. So we had to go outside to eat dinner as the spa restaurant wasn’t really what I was looking for, for a nice evening meal. For breakfast we had to go to the sage spa restaurant which had a very limited selection of food. There were about 6 dishes to choose from, they said The chef doesn’t cook scrambled egg which is a breakfast essential so I basically had to have a plate of toast. As there was nothing that I wanted on the menu and I was told the smoothie machine was broken so I couldn’t even opt for that instead. This happened straight after the hot water had gone so was a bit of a dampener. I came to the hotel a few years ago when you didn’t have to pay for the spa access but now you do which is a bit annoying. Especially as you can only visit during breakfast or dinner hours even with the £20 surcharge. So then you have to either eat very late at night or have a late lunch otherwise the £20 won’t be well spent and you’d have to leave the spa after an hour

전반적으로 호텔은 꽤 괜찮았습니다. 위치도 좋고 객실에서 보이는 전망도 훌륭했습니다. 다만 건물이 좀 오래되어서 5성급 호텔을 기대하는 분들도 계실 것 같습니다. 빈티지하면서도 좋은 호텔을 찾으신다면 딱 맞는 곳입니다. 정말 마음에 들었습니다. 직원들도 정말 친절하고 좋았습니다. 이곳을 추천합니다.

표준 Premier Inn ... 방은 깨끗하고 현대적이었습니다. 호텔의 나머지 부분은 조금 피곤했지만 가격과 내가 기대했던 것은 완전히 괜찮 았습니다. 캔터베리로 쉽게 산책할 수 있지만 일부 사람들은 특히 문제가 있는 지하도를 걸어야 합니다. 늦은 밤이지만 안전하다고 확신합니다. WiFi는 팬이 아닌 ...을 업그레이드하도록 권장합니다.

My stay was good and enjoyable I had no issues with my stay customer service was good and helpful

이것은 얼마나 놀라운 숨겨진 보석입니까? 길 건너편에 Warehorn 교회가 있는 습지가 내려다보이는 언덕 꼭대기에 자리 잡은 이 펍은 낭만적인 휴가를 위한 필수 코스입니다. 우리는 일찍 도착하여 아름답고 기발한 바에서 음료를 마셨고 환영하는 장작불이 타오르고 다양한 음료를 마셨습니다. 우리는 제공할 것이 너무 많고 편안한 침대, 롤탑 욕조 및 많은 캐릭터가 있는 ”Niddy” 다락방을 예약했습니다. 내가 방에 가지고 있었던 유일한 ******는 W.C가 지붕 공간에 압착되었다는 것입니다. 일어서서 조금 어색했지만, 그런 훌륭한 방에 관해서는 작은 일입니다. 저녁 식사를 위해 조용한 테이블을 요청하고 우리는 옆 지역에서 하나를 받았고 다시 믿을 수 없었습니다. 매우 낭만적이었고 우리는 방 전체를 우리 자신에게 가지고있었습니다. 우리 웨이터 Muli는 너무 좋았고 세심했지만 방해가되지 않았으며 너무 재미있어서 우리는 많은 식사를하지 않았으며 그는 정말로 저녁을 만들었습니다. 음식은 훌륭했고 비건 버거는 내가 가진 것 중 최고였습니다. 걷기, 자전거 타기, 조류 관찰에 관심이 있거나 지역 명소를 방문하고 싶다면 위치가 훌륭했습니다(밀밀토끼는 차로 단 20분 거리에 있음) 나머지 직원들도 훌륭했고 우리를 위해 충분히 할 수 없었습니다. 우리는 확실히 돌아올 것입니다.

This is the best place to stay in Folkstone! A beautifully refurbished Victorian hotel on the seafront. Our room was well worth the money for its tasteful decor and excellent sea and promenade views. The buffet breakfast was superb - great variety and quality. All staff we met were excellent, well-trained in their role and obviously enjoying their job.

Great array of breakfast choices. Clean. Room service great. Restaurant on premises offered delicious dinners at reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Room tidied daily. Fresh linen. Spacious room. Will definitely return. Highly recommend.
