A very clean, cozy, and modern place to stay. Although it’s a bit far from the city center, it’s a great choice if you’re specifically visiting the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. Even though we only stayed for two nights, the room was excellent. They even had a kitchen, which was a nice bonus. There’s no bottled water provided in the room, but water, coffee, and snacks are available in the lobby on the ground floor. Overall, a lovely stay. Highly recommended!

개인적으로 이 호텔이 하이델베르크 최고의 호텔이라고 생각합니다. 가성비가 아주 좋습니다. 시설도 훌륭하고, 조식도 풍성하고, 15층에 위치해 구시가지가 내려다보입니다. 제가 예약했을 당시 구시가지에 있는 이전 호텔들은 모두 만실이었습니다. 이 호텔이 기차역 근처에 있어서 처음에는 주차와 소음이 걱정되었지만, 모든 것이 완벽했습니다. 두꺼운 유리로 마감된 넓은 지하 주차장 덕분에 소음 없이 편안하게 지낼 수 있었습니다.

43유로에 좋은 호텔. 좋은 방이지만 우리가 조용한 방을 요청했지만 확실히 담배를 피우는 방이 없었습니다. 우리는 길에 방을 가지고 있었다. 소음!!! 그것은 치솟고 차의 소음이었습니다. 그러나 방과 침대처럼 더러운 흡연 공기. 너무 슬프다 ....

방에 들어가려면 비밀번호 7826을 입력해야 하는데 아무도 알려주지 않습니다. 입장 후 셀프 서비스 체크인이 있었는데 시간이 오래 걸리고 결국 지불을 요구했습니다 (이미 씨트 립에서 지불했습니다). 총 30분을 기다린 후 위층 프런트로 나와서 체크인을 하겠느냐고 물었습니다. 모든 과정을 마치고 주차요금에 대해 문의했지만 아는 바가 없었습니다. 엘리베이터도 고장났습니다. 위치는 기차역 맞은편으로 괜찮고, 바로 옆에 400m도 안되는 거리에 DM 매장이 있습니다. 아침 식사는 괜찮습니다. 과일이 있습니다.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed, combining modern elegance with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The lobby immediately gave me a great impression – spacious, bright, and tastefully decorated – and the staff at the reception greeted me with genuine smiles and efficiency, making the check-in process smooth and quick. The room I stayed in was exceptionally comfortable. It was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything I needed, from a cozy bed with crisp linens to a well-stocked minibar, a flat-screen TV, and reliable Wi-Fi. The bathroom was another highlight: clean, modern, and fitted with high-quality amenities. One small detail I appreciated was how quiet the room was; I could truly relax without any disturbance from outside noise. The service throughout my stay was outstanding. Every member of the staff, from housekeeping to the concierge, went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. They were always polite, attentive, and ready to help with any request, whether it was arranging transportation, recommending local restaurants, or providing extra towels within minutes. The hotel’s location was another big plus. It is conveniently situated close to [city center / tourist attractions / business district], making it easy to explore the area without spending too much time commuting. Despite being centrally located, the hotel still offered a sense of peace and privacy, which I really appreciated after a long day out. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. From fresh fruits, pastries, and cereals to hot dishes and freshly brewed coffee, everything was delicious and well-prepared. I also noticed the hotel offered a business center and several meeting rooms, which would be ideal for corporate travelers. Overall, my stay at this hotel was outstanding in every way. 배배움배움이가격대비 다 좋았습니다. 아침은 뷔페였는데 다 맛있었고 삶은 계란이랑 유기농 요거트가 인상적이었습니다. 하지만 침구 때문인지 바닥 카페트 때문인지 몸이 가려워서 잠을 잘 못잤습니다…. 벌레가 있던 건 아니었는데 아마 먼지 때문이었던 것 같습니다. 이것빼고는 뷰도 좋았고 직원들도 친절했습니다!

AAng_ieThe highlight of our stay at Bad Hotel Überlingen was definitely the spa area. It felt very new, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The sauna resting area, in particular, stood out—it connects directly to a garden, and from there you have a beautiful view over Lake Constance. Stepping outside for fresh air between sauna sessions, with that view in front of you, was genuinely relaxing. The gym, on the other hand, felt a bit disappointing. It’s quite small, and strangely, there were no weights available. It seemed like all the equipment was locked away in a physio or personal training room, which made the space feel incomplete for anyone wanting a proper workout. Breakfast was a much more positive experience. The selection was excellent, easily better than what I’ve come across in most German hotels. Everything was well presented, and the refilling was always timely, so nothing ever felt empty or neglected. That said, the service was a little inconsistent. One staff member—a dark hair runner in the restaurant—handled a small issue with a pepper grinder poorly, initially dismissing the concern instead of checking it. Thankfully, another server stepped in quickly and resolved the situation before it escalated further. Parking is available either at the hotel or at the car park across the street, both at €17 per day, which is straightforward but something to factor in. What really ties everything together is the location. The surroundings are beautiful—the lakefront promenade is just there, perfect for a walk, and there’s a nearby park with a charming tower that adds to the scenery. The Bodensee-Therme Überlingen is also just around the corner, making it easy to extend that spa-like feeling beyond the hotel itself. In the end, Bad Hotel Überlingen is a place where the setting and spa experience really shine, even if a few details—like the gym setup and some service moments—don’t quite match the overall potential. This is one of the very few hotel I would love to stay over again.

SSUSAN TOMIf we could give this hotel a review of 10/5 we would. We stayed for an extended time (16 days) and during that time we experienced the best and friendliest service. The reception staff was always friendly and cheerful. Everyone was ready to help with any question we had. Breakfast was amazing. The selection was terrific. And every morning we were greeted by the pleasant and happy staff. One staff member told me she loves her job. Who doesn't want to stay in a hotel where the staff love working? Several days my mother who travelled with me was ill and the staff made it so easy for me to take breakfast to her in the room. The room was terrific. We requested the accessible room and were not disappointed. Despite Ettlingen not being the most wheelchair friendly, Stadthotel Engel had every accessibility need addressed. The front entrance has no stairs. They have an elevator that stops at the breakfast room level. The bathroom in our room was wheelchair friendly with a raised toilet, fully accessible shower, and vanity that could accommodate a wheelchair underneath. We did not have a wheelchair but my mother has a walker which requires many of the same accommodations. The room has air conditioning for those who are concerned about that. The location is amazing. From the hotel you are directly in the old city and can walk to many stores, cafes, and restaurants. The hotel entrance is located in an inside court area where there are tables that can be enjoyed during the nice weather.
