"Such a wonderful, peaceful stay, with the most friendly and helpful English speaking hosts! Kindhearted owner Liuting (Eva) cooked us very tasty vegetarian meals, and her partner Dima gave us some lovely travel recommendations in the region. Liutings brother and sister were also very sweet. Nuodeng is the perfect combination of nature (nice walks in and around the village) and culture (old temples, beautiful old houses and stairs- it's smart to bring a backpack instead of suitcase). Also very suitable to work away from home for a few days: strong wifi and plenty of little work spaces up and downstairs in the property, with the most beautiful views over the valley. The cute animal companions made our stay complete: I loved the cat cuddles, and dog Xiaohua even joined us on multiple walks. On our departure day, Liuting helped us so much with organising a shared taxi too. And on top of everything: the food and stay was so affordable, great value for money. We hope to come back one day!"

The bedding was soft and comfortable against my skin, and I slept soundly until I naturally woke up. The view from the window was expansive; during the day, I could see blue skies and white clouds, and at night, it was completely peaceful with no noise disturbance, significantly improving my sleep quality! The owner's hospitality was also incredibly touching! From check-in to check-out, the service was attentive throughout. They not only proactively recommended nearby restaurants and attractions but also helped plan my itinerary, treating me like a friend. Any needs I had were readily met; this feeling of being at home was truly rare! The owner also recommended several local favorites that only they knew about, and the food was absolutely delicious! "The guesthouse is situated high up in Nuodeng Ancient Village, offering great views. The rooms are nicely designed, and although it only opened in February of this year, the facilities are very new. The owner is very welcoming; he proactively upgraded my room and even treated me to walnuts he grew himself. The owner is a good cook; his ham fried rice and free-range chicken soup were even better than what you can find elsewhere. The owner is also a photographer, and his photos are quite beautiful. I look forward to staying here for a few more days next time. The courtyard is very quiet, perfect for relaxing and unwinding."
