It was good value for money. The hotel is conveniently located on a bus route with services to both Wrexham and Chester running every fifteen minutes. I also dined at the Beeches pub next door, where the food was very good."

"Well, what can I say. Just returned from a night at this lodge. Margaret and Jenny were the most perfect hosts. Owl Lodge was stunning, with everything you could want for a perfect stay. Comfy bed, powerful shower, everything was spotlessly clean. The sauna was just what I needed. Not sure about the cold plunge in the stream (I'm clearly a big wuss!) but I put my big girls pants on and did it. I did feel better for it after. I couldn't recommend highly enough."
