'This hotel and the staff were amazing We had booked an evening meal in advance - the food & the service were 5* Breakfast the following morning was equally as gd. We enjoyed a really gd sleep. It was a very warm evening - the hotel had provided a fan which meant our sleep was nit disturbed. Would definitely recommend and return when in the area'

'Amazing location, friendly staff. The vibe and decor of the hotel was quite dated to be honest (felt a bit like The Shining) but as I was just there on an overnight stay it wasn't too much of an issue. The bed was very comfortable and the water was hot so I can't say I wouldn't stay again!'

'Great location for a hotel - closer to city centre with a nice walk across the river to get there. Convenient stop to visit family in my home-town. Over-all a good hotel, clean room and comfortable bed. We didn't come into contact with any staff or stay for breakfast as we were in late and out early, so we can't comment on those. We loved that the room had a bath - this was lovely! The only downside was the the taps seemed to have some mould inside the pipes... it didn't come out into the water but it did look pretty disgusting hanging there in the running water :/  Other than that, this hotel gave us everything we would expect from a quick stop over :) '
