The Lodge at Dancing Horse Farm is set on an historic farmstead with beautiful mountain views and is just minutes away from Windham Mountain Club and Hunter Mountain Ski and Snowboard Resort. Dancing Horse Farm is the perfect place to escape your day to day life and reset with your family and friends in a beautiful, open space with private access to the farm area and our woodland hiking trails.
The lodge is situated at the end of a long, hemlock lined, private driveway. Once inside the lodge, your group will find great spaces to be together and plenty of bedrooms to spread out and have your own personal space. The main floor has a large kitchen, dining room and great room that is great for gathering groups but cozy and comfortable for any size family or group. Can't go to a your favorite sporting event...? Get together this fall for that big football game at our place and watch on our 65" 4K HDTV. The first floor has a large common area with a 75" 4K HDTV, a pool table and a dart board. There is a large stone patio and a wooden deck with seating and a gas bbq grill to spread out and enjoy the outdoors. There are also 3 firepit areas in the yard with comfy chairs to warm up on a cool night.
Just beyond the lodge you can walk down to our barns here at Dancing Horse Farm and say hello to the animals. Beyond the barn area, you can explore the many acres of woods with private walking trails to get back to nature.
Whether you are here to ski, snowboard, hang out on the farm, or just escape to nature, the Lodge at Dancing Horse Farm is the place where you will create memories that last a lifetime. Welcome home.

Make this spacious, newly built townhouse yours during a relaxing getaway in the Catskill Mountains! Located just minutes from Windham Mountain, this 2 Bedroom/2 Bathroom townhouse is packed with amenities for you to enjoy your stay. Be sure to enjoy at least one of the many great restaurants just steps from the front door, spend some time at one of the breweries or wineries located less than 15 minutes away, and enjoy all that the Catskills has to offer!
The space
After making your way through the scenic, winding roads leading to an oversized parking lot, you’ll feel instant relaxation once you walk through the front door. You will first pass a full bathroom and then the space opens up to the kitchen, living room, and dining area with lots of natural light coming in through the sliding door leading to the patio off the back of the townhome on the first level. The cherry cabinets in the kitchen are stocked with all the cooking supplies you might need to cook a delicious meal on the easy-clean granite countertops. Relax in front of the large smart TV on the brand new leather sofa in the living room. There may not be great cellular reception in this remote mountain location, but that will be no problem with the high-speed Wi-Fi installed at this townhome. Enjoy the mountain air with a cup of coffee in the morning or a refreshing drink in the evening out on the patio.
Upstairs, you will find 2 freshly cleaned bedrooms and another full bathroom. The master bedroom features a comfortable queen bed sitting in front of a beautiful hand painted mural. Windham Mountain is located just 5 minutes away featuring some of the best skiing in the East and Hunter Mountain just under 15 minutes away. The Windham Mountain Bike Park is a great place for those craving activity in the area outside of the winter season. If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, try out the New York Zipline Adventures at Hunter Mountain. If you are looking to relax, try out one of the many hiking and walking trails in the area. We recommend the Windham Path for a quick, easy, and beautiful stroll. Bring your golf clubs and try Windham Country Club and Christman’s Golf Course for the best mountain golfing around.
If you’d prefer not to cook, we highly recommend the great cooking and drinks at “Zack’s Place” Monday-Friday located just across the street! Chicken Run offers live music at their indoor/outdoor bar setting located right on Batavia Kill creek and has some fantastic fried chicken.

This is a beautiful log home on 8 acres with amazing views of Windham Mountain. The home is a unique one that is made of Canadian pine whole logs that are over 30 inches in diameter. The residence contains 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The home is set on a private lot surrounded by trees on three sides, while offering the convenience of town only 5 minutes away.
New for 2025: Weber 3-burner propane grill, upgraded seating and lighting for the outdoor fire pit, new hammock, and a larger TV in the lower level.
The house features a direct, unobstructed view of the Windham Mountain resort. It is the ideal retreat for your family, friends and loved ones to enjoy all that the Catskills has to offer.
Are you looking to prepare and cook a big meal for a dozen people? Our home has everything you need to make a memorable occasion. The kitchen contains full sets of quality pots and pans in lots of sizes, knives and cutting boards, flatware, dish ware, and serving bowls and platters. There also lots of tools for the outside grill. The home is well stocked with various spices, oils, flour, bread crumbs, and coffee filters. There are always extra condiment supplies just in case someone forgot something- which always happens! The big table inside has two leaves that extend the table to 12 feet long. And the big table outside on the deck is a great gathering spot in warmer weather.
The kitchen and buffet table are stocked with wine, margarita, and martini glasses along with a set of cups for Moscow mules. There is a cocktail shaker, whiskey glasses, and plenty of wine openers.
You just have to bring your own food and drinks!
Children- If you are visiting with younger ones, there is an air fryer for quick cooking and we have full sets of plastic cups and plates along with kid sized utensils. Kids love the large divided plates that we have, too. There are three safety gates located at on the stairs. Remember to watch them when the hot tub cover is opened.
The fireplace is stocked with lighters and kindling ready to go. There is dry firewood on the deck for your use.
Step out the back door and you will find yourself on a spacious wood deck with a view that directly faces the mountain and a 15 mile view. This home has a 6 person outdoor hot tub and a large fire pit area, a covered deck with an extra large dining table for 10 and an outdoor fireplace, fabulous sunsets, and a giant lawn for playing games. There is plenty of room for cornhole or wiffleball games.
If BBQ-ing is your thing, we have you covered with a propane grill. An extra tank is provided in case the one there runs low and needs to be swapped out.
A few steps down to the back yard is a fire pit surrounded with chairs, stools, and string lights for your entire group to gather around. We provide you with a fire starter kit and a decent amount of wood for multiple nights gathering around the fire pit.
There is a radiant heat system throughout the entire home, in addition to forced air heating and 2 separate central air conditioning systems. There is a 10kw Generac generator on site so you don't have to worry about losing electricity during your stay. There is high speed Internet/ Wifi for you and your group to easily stream on multiple devices.
The property is a 5 minute drive to the ski resort, hiking and biking trails. In the summer Windham is known for hiking, golfing, mountain biking, fly-fishing, and a nearby water park. Of course, in autumn, the foliage is just spectacular. This property is conveniently located:

- 5 minutes away from Windham Mountain Resort
- 15 minutes away from Hunter Mountain Resort and village of Tannersville

The check-in will be contactless and keyless. Before you arrive, we will send you the code to the door lock.
PARKING
Please feel free to utilize the parking spaces nearest to your house for the duration of your stay - it can hold up to 6 cars. Note that we are not responsible for personal items left in your car. We strongly encourage the use of all wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicles during snow season as the driveway does have a slope to it.
HOUSE ACCESS
The entire house is yours for the length of your stay. Feel free to enjoy the private deck, fire pit and seating areas around the yard.
CHECK OUT
Our check-out time is at 11:00 am. Late checkouts are available upon request. Please make sure to do the dishes before you leave but it’s ok to place the remaining dishes in the dishwasher and start the cycle. Please strip the bedsheets and leave them with any used towels by the laundry room. Don’t forget to do a final walk thru of the house to make sure you haven’t left behind any personal items.
RECYCLING
Guests can leave the recycling items on a separate bag in the deck box outside by the kitchen. The cleaning team will take care of it after guests leave.

First Floor - One of our favorite spaces in the house is the main living room with high ceilings and a wood-burning stove. You can light a fire or play music and cozy up on the couch while overlooking the beautiful views from our oversized floor to ceiling windows. Taking just a few steps up leads to a spacious private game room for the littles to have their own space. They can play endless board games, read books, or log into any streaming channel on the already Wifi connected TV. Conversely, the space can also be used as a workspace to catch up on email or escape for some quiet time on the couch while fancying a book.
The kitchen and dining area are a few steps up from the living room and feature all new appliances. A well stocked and fully equipped kitchen awaits those inner chefs. Plus a large island with three bar stools provides plenty of room for meal prep, baking, serving food and even enough room to make fresh pasta for the whole family! The dinning room table will accommodate a family of eight for shared meals. One of the fully renovated bathrooms is adjacent to the kitchen for convenience.
Second Floor - All bedrooms are on this level with large closet space. The primary bedroom is a large room with a king size bed, private sitting area and a 65' SMART TV that is Wifi connected and ready for you to log into your streaming channels. Bedroom 2 accommodates up to four guests with a twin and full size bunk bed plus an additional twin bed. This bedroom features three custom windows allowing guests to take in the incredible views of the mountain. Bathroom 2 is fully renovated and located between bedroom 1 and bedroom 2 for easy access. As you enter the ground floor, you'll be greeted by an open living and dining area, complemented by a cozy wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen boasts extra counter seating, ideal for casual meals or simply enjoying a morning coffee. A tiled mudroom entry keeps things organized and practical.
Step through sliding doors to your private deck, where you can relax while overlooking a serene pond. The main floor is completed by a full bath and laundry facilities for your convenience.
Upstairs, you'll find two roomy bedrooms and another full bath, ensuring comfort and privacy for all. But the real bonus is the 3rd-level loft, perfect for additional sleeping space or as a den/playroom. Master Bdr : Queen, Second Bdr Full, Loft 2 Twin beds (upon request additional Blow up Mattresses are available to accommodate an additional 2 people).
Our location offers easy in-and-out access, and Crystal Pond has a summer pool for relaxation. In the winter, enjoy the hassle-free weekend shuttle to Windham Mountain on the half hour, saving you the trouble of finding parking. We're just 3 minutes from Windham town and 5 min from Windham ski mountain, 15-20 minutes away from Hunter Mountain, as well as nearby cross country, hiking and bike trails.
