From the onset of my arrival to my departure I was made to feel at home.
A selection of 5 ales to satisfy the evening and a breakfast not matched anywhere. 9 different items on your plate as well as toast on the side made this the most fulfilling and satisfying breakfast I have ever had when on the road and I would welcome it again.
I would recommend the Sun Inn to anyone staying in the area and I would even suggest it is worth a detour to say here.

I only stayed one night, but the people were very welcoming.
The room was adequate, and the food was really good. Friendly restaurant, friendly bar, did the job, and I'd definitely stay again.

We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Breakfast the next day was just as good with a wide choice and cooked to order.

Had a great stay at The Sun Inn for 4 nights as a female solo traveller. The food was very good, particularly the breakfast. I felt comfortable and safe, which is a big thing for me as a solo traveller. The staff were friendly and always found time for a chat with me. I would definitely return.

Always a warm friendly welcome at The Sun Inn! Room was clean and comfortable, great choice of local ales and beers at the bar. Had a great evening meal, service was good from a polite and friendly waitress! Breakfast be it full English or omelettes( I tried both) is outstanding! Will definitely be staying again and highly recommended

Really lovely pub in a great friendly village setting. Food was amazing (the type you would make a bee line for if I was in the area again!).
Rooms were pleasantly well appointed, with everything thing you would need, but would probably give another pillow option.
The only slightly disappointing thing was that due to the rural setting there would be tractors passing very early in the morning. Probably wouldn’t have disturbed me if I didn’t need to have the windows open as it was so hot. All round though an excellent choice for anyone.
