Granite countertops and beautiful plank flooring are some of the recent high-end upgrades. Central air conditioning and central heat make this a comfortable stay during any season. The Cottage is a casual 10 minute walk to downtown Washington where you can enjoy the beautiful waterfront, the estuarium, restaurants and bars, live music, antique stores and festivals. The new Bug Park playground is one house over and has brand new pickleball courts! A quick 5 minute walk will take you to Haven's Gardens Park on the Pamlico River where the kids can enjoy the larger playground and picnic area. The Cottage is 30 minutes to Greenville NC airport (PGV), Eastern Carolina University and 45 minutes to New Bern and Coastal Carolina Airport (EWN). The Cottage sits on a large, quiet lot with plenty of off-street parking. We are fenced and pet friendly!
