워싱턴, NFI 근처 호텔

호텔은 위치가 좋고 시설도 비교적 새것이었는데 프론트의 인도인 웨이트리스의 태도가 매우 좋지 않아 엘리베이터 맞은편 1층 방을 주었습니다. 결과적으로 방은 방음이 매우 잘 되었습니다. 아침 6시에 청소할 때 큰 소리로 떠들고 물건을 바닥에 떨어뜨리는 소리가 다 선명하게 들리고, 아침 일찍 엘리베이터를 타는 사람들의 소음까지 더해져 정말 시끄러웠습니다. 점심때 나가기전에 프런트에 가서 방 바꿔달라고 했더니 처음엔 안된다고 했더니 2층 방을 주더군요. 다음날 보니 쓰레기장 바로 위에 쓰레기가 있더군요. 아침에 짐을 싣고 내리는 일이 있었는데 방에 있는 에어컨 소리가 트랙터 소리만큼 시끄러웠어요 다행히 덥지 않은 밤에는 문을 열어주지 않았네요 너무 게을러서 프론트와 협상도 못했어요 진심으로 중국인을 겨냥한 것으로 의심됩니다!

What an absolutely amazing stay in the nations capital. My room was incredibly clean and it was even quiet, considering that there was a rooftop bar with live music. I slept well. And, I’m really grateful that they are in such close proximity to a Walgreens, which is right on the corner. I travel often and often forget a thing or two or just need simple things like bottles of water (I drink half a gallon to a gallon per day). But I want to give a big huge shout out to the staff particularly Jessica, Michael and Chris. I was traveling with someone with dementia. We were in town for the Alzheimer’s Association ball. And, they truly treated my travel companion with kid gloves! The staff were considerate to her needs and patient with her every step of the way. I even accidentally left my jacket in the hotel room trying to take care of my friend and Jessica call me later on that day to let me know that she found it and that she would personally ship it out. This jacket is very personal and special to me and has quite a bit of sentimental value so I’m so incredibly grateful that I didn’t lose it and that it’s on the way back to me. This was a great stay, a great hotel! You feel safe in a big city and the café downstairs has some of the best coffee I’ve ever had in my life!

Beautiful and very comfortable and clean. I stayed 5 nights and would have liked my room to been cleaned at the half way point to get a refresh on coffees and clean sheets but was still very nice. A spa would be a awesome addition to your hotel. Continetal breakfast was simple and all that you need egg muffins were out one day so all there was was the cold stuff or bagels and toast. But all in all very lovely hotel.

Check your final bill! Overall location is great, rooms small but nice, breakfast buffet was really good(guests are pigs though),plenty of free coffee & tea but no ice water anywhere. We knew going in that parking on site was $49 a night, we arrived on 4/7 tired & decided to just use it that one night. I asked front desk if that was ok & she said of course-we would only be charged for when we park. She even told us about the Safeway lot a block away to park in. We switched to there the next morning at half the cost per night & were told we would only be billed 1st night. checked out around 9am 4/11, never received a finalized bill under the room door or an email with it. I went to desk to ask to see final bill so I can check for the parking. Of course the additional 3 nights were on it. I asked to have it removed as we did not park those nights. I was then told she can’t because the bill was locked & only a manager can reverse it. The manager was not coming in until 11am so I guess they don’t have a manager at all times. I tried calling several times after 11 but was always left on hold. I was once out through to a voice mail & left my story there asking for a response. Today the same thing happened. I’ve never had an IHG hotel be so unresponsive. I need to know that these charges will be reversed. I’ve looked at other reviews & see the same thing has happened to others. Be very careful when checking out. I also left my jacket there & can’t get anyone to see if they found it.
