빌라흐, Villach Innenstadt 근처 호텔

이것은 내가 머물렀던 가장 편안한 객실 중 하나입니다. 가장 아름답지 않기 때문에 위치에 대해 확신하지 못했지만 너무 편안해서 중요하지 않았습니다. 기차역까지 도보로 15분(수하물 포함)이었고 중심가까지 거의 같았습니다. 리셉션의 사람은 사랑스러웠습니다. 기차 파업이 있었고 나는 우리가 다른 날 머물 수 있는지 물었고 그녀는 그것에 매우 도움이되었습니다. 객실은 정말 깨끗했고 침대는 편안했습니다. 샤워는 잘 작동했고 뜨거운 물과 좋은 수압을 가지고있었습니다. 코트와 물건을 걸 수 있는 공간이 있었습니다. 나는 실내 온도가 훌륭하다는 것을 알았고 구름이 사라졌을 때 우리는 아름다운 산 전망을 가지고있었습니다. 너무 조용했다. 이 호텔을 정말로 즐겼고 추천합니다. 근처에 두 개의 슈퍼마켓도 있습니다. 훌륭한 가치!

I guess many people have said this, but it’s a great place to stay in Villach. Just across from the railway station and a short walk into the centre of Villach, even the economy room was fine - small, but comfortable, and we slept well. Breakfast is simply astonishing (would be worth staying a second night for this!). Plenty of storage for bikes. Great stay. Thank you!

It's amazing hotel... 오스트리아 빈 으로 가는 중에 묵은 호텔. 차로 이동하느라 안전하고 넓은 주차장이 필요했는데 본 호텔은 완벽한 공용 주차장과 연결되어있어서 너무 편했음. 또한 위치도 좋고 근처 좋은 식당이 많음.

Das Hotel eduCare liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Autobahn A2. Ich habe einen Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg in Richtung Italien eingelegt. Und ich war begeistert. Sehr saubere & großzügige Zimmer. Sehr freundliches Personal. Kleine Wellnesslandschaft und Gym, welche keine Wünsche offen lassen. Hervorzuheben ist auch das zum Hotel gehörende Wirtshaus Zum Treffner. Hier habe ich eines der besten Beef Tatars genießen dürfen. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr reichhaltig und lässt keine Wünsche offen.

The Hotel is really on the practical side - well situated, average standard but clean and functional - it is built for by-passers. And in that respect it is good. Staff is very friendly and helpful (a big bonus), the restaurant is actually very good and I do like to eat there - taste and food choices are very good. The room is clean, and good standard. All is basically new as the Hotel was built not long ago. My only criticism about the Hotel is that the two roads outside are very busy and there is really unpleasant noise from the trucks and cars passing by. That is especially annoying during the night when it would be very quiet, I mean really quiet - but every 20 seconds or so a car passes by with a lot of motor and tire noise. It is hard to accept that - we tried several rooms but it is basically all around - the lobby staff kindly offered us various rooms further away - but sadly it did not work. So my really only (but significant) downside of this Hotel is the noise level from the street.

I will not go into detail about the service, location, or whatever, but I will specifically target the room, because this is not worth an IGH standard. I booked this hotel, because I needed to have surgery in Villach and had to be at the hospital very early in the morning and therefore got myself a room. I will be honest, I took the cheapest room, which was the ”Cozy” and still was 135€ per night for me. When I arrived at my room, I couldn't believe my eyes, it was an adapted conference room, with a pull-up bed. One could clearly see the ”walls” that could be put away and the beamer overhead for presentations. I was just shocked. I will admit, I could have gone back to the front desk to ask them to change the room, but I was kind of nervous and tired, so I didn't do that. And it seems that the hotel was pretty much booked, so I didn't have high hopes for another room... Anyway, apart from this very weird room, also the cleanliness was questionable, the coffee mugs were already covered in dust, the spoons were brown, from past use? As I had to get up very early anyway I didn't mind the preparing of the conference room next door, which involved vaccuming and loud phone calls. If I would have been here for leisure and wanted to get a good sleep in, that would not have been the correct adress. I did tell the hotel about my bad experience and asked them to clarify. Basically they told me that it was my own fault, as I booked the cozy room and that they are indeed cheaper. After consulting the website, one cannot identify on the pictures that the ”cozy” rooms appear to be conference rooms, that can be reused as rooms when needed and have a pull-out-bed. Additionally the ”normal” rooms were just 10€ more expensive, and appear to be nice at least looking at the pics. They did offer me a 10% discount for my next stay. I gladly decline that. Therefore for all others: If you decide to stay at the Voco don't take the Cozy rooms, especially not for that price, its a scam. An IHG hotel should at least have the decency to not sell those ”things” as rooms and certainly not at this price ...
