Great vibe all around, clean - very helpful staff, good mix of people, quiet after 10pm. Bar is fun and a good place to unwind. Great location. We had a private room which was cozy and had a sink. The kitchen is well equipped as well. Didn’t get a chance to do any of the activities as we were fully booked up but they looked awesome and good value for money

Everything was made to make you feel comfortable and welcome, I really don't have any complaints. They have good suggestions what to do and where to eat. There is enought living space and everything seemed very clean. They cook great food and it's located very close to the center and a trainstation. Just amazing!!

I loved my stay at Ruthensteiner Hostel ! As a solo traveller it felt so easy to make friends and to spend the nicest time in a cosy, homey and musical environnement... Plus you can get to the city centre really easily It's definitely a place you can relax and meet a lot of international people :)

Best hostel I have ever stayed in, extremely friendly and social. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Social areas are pretty, with a bar that does good breakfast in the morning and happy hours in the evening. Would highly recommend this hostel for everyone but especially solo travellers.

The hostel greatly exceeded my expectations. All the personnel have excellent communication and English skills. They are friendly and always ready to help you! When it comes to the rooms, I stayed in a 8-person, mixed dorm and everything went really well. I was not afraid that someone would try to steal my things, because at the front desk you get a keycard which is essential if you want access to your room. Moreover, each person has its own locker in the room, which can only be opened with the same keycard you get when you check-in. The beds were comfortable enough to get a decent sleep. each bed has its own power plug and a small lamp (although not all of the lamps work, but you can use the flash of your phone with no worries). the noise was nothing out of the ordinary and during the time the bar was open, I had the chance to meet amazing and sociable people. Lastly, bathrooms are split into two rooms: one of them has a sink and the toilet, whereas the second one has an additional sink, a mirror and a shower. all of them are clean and the shower always had hot water. I could not have asked for more! the hostel is affordable, welcoming and its location is excellent. Should I visit Vienna again, I will certainly come back!
