I don't recommend this hotel! The front view is in front of an old hospital, the spa center wasn't working with all equipment as they say it would, and to top it all the manager continued arguing telling me that the steam bath and Russian sauna worked, when they didn't. I asked for some kind of discount but they didn't agree. Very disappointed most of all because they didn't tell me the truth, and because the manager wasn't servicing the client but his own ego.

Velingrad - the spa capital of the Balkans. It sounds cliché until you visit the Royal Spa Hotel. Friendly and modern interior, and when you visit the relaxation areas, then you understand that you are in the right place. The abundance of spa areas - saunas, pools, steam rooms bathrooms etc. is combined as well as possible and regardless of the number of guests, you can enjoy the wealth of nature - the mineral springs - at any moment. Regarding breakfast and dinner (I had pre-paid meals) they were stunning. The abundance, variety and high quality of the food was top notch. Something that is rare and few hotels can boast of. I'll stop here with the stories, but don't hesitate and come here - you know where to enjoy your planned vacation. Kamen Ivanov Varna, Bulgaria

The mere hotel is getting old- the rooms are not luxury at all, the spa needs renovation as well, the menu is short-listed. Too expensive for the provided quality and services. The hotel is trying to keep the Velingrade's price level, but it is nothing special.

What the hotel offers does not correspond to four stars. I paid for an apartment for three adults half board. My idea was to use the living room and paid for that, the sofa was open and there were no other armchairs. I discussed this with a receptionist and they replied that the photos do not correspond to the description and only one apartment has this furniture and it is currently occupied. The spa complex is average. in the restaurant, not enough staff until they pile up a mountain of plates for you to observe. When will the Bulgarian citizens receive the services they paid for?

This hotel is overrated. The food is terrible, there is no waiter at the lobby bar so you have to go order and take you drink and wait 10 minutes for it. The spa is overcrowded and the smell of chemicals is inevitable. Definitely needs an improvement in cleaning. I don’t recommend it.

A good overall hotel with a nice spa. The hotel was very busy on the weekend however during the week was quiet. The deluxe room was nice and spacious however some areas in the room needed attention. The only main let down was the breakfast and the attitude of the servers and especially the women doing pancakes (just because we didn't speak bulgarian she gave us bad looks and clearly made fun about us in bulgarian to her friends) Hotel really need to improve service here. Otherwise a pleasant stay

The hotel is nice. Beautifully build, the spa is also nice. But the rooms are not refurbished, the furniture is broken. Also the cleaning is totally skipped. When I arrived, I felt like the bedsheets are not changed and the floor is not cleaned. I do not advise having any meal at the restaurant: it was tasty, but the clean dishes had leftovers.

I expected to have nice vacation when I booked a little bit pricey hotel but it was ruined. First you need a map to find your room, spa center and outdoor pool. The room was narrow, dark and old furnished. On the mattress of the bed we had a piece of foam rubber which is unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. The receptionist tried to convince us that it is top mattress?!!. The staff in the restaurant was totally impolte. And the spa is too small for all the guests. At the time we were there the guests were about 100 people and the places in the relax zone are about 30 in total. If you want to relax a little bit between the procedures you have to just stand. Not to mention that the small hot outdoor pools were extremely dirty. Overall, I will not go there even if the stay is a gift.

One of my favorites balneo&spa Hotel in Bulgaria. Perfect Spa Center. It has a total of 8 indoor and outdoor pools & Perfect food. The hotel has Very nice silent location, fresh air in the mountains, close to the center of Velingrad.
