"I was looking for a property very close to the beach and found this one right next to varkala Beach. it's walkable distance of 3 to 5mins. The property is very average and felt overpriced. It should not be more than 2k per night or max 3k. Breakfast was fresh and tasty but very limited options. They have resturant only for breakfast so you have to go out for lunch and dinner but that's not a problem because there are around 15 to 20 resturants at a distance of just 50metres which serve excellent seafood. Overall the hotel stay was average but the location is the strong point. Go for it if you just want to spend time on the beach and use the hotel for rest."

"The best thing about this resort is its location. Right on the cliff adjacent to the sea.. just a few steps to the beach. A small pool which is good for kids and people who don't know how to swim. The rooms are not worth the price. Service is not good. The room doesn't even have a phone to contact the reception. They gave a mobile number.. mostly no one picks the call.. The breakfast is just average.. any two dishes and curry, bread butter jam, cornflakes, boiled egg, tea coffee.. that's it.. for which sometimes you have to wait for a long time.."

"Loved this place! Binu gave a very warm welcome and was very helpful during my stay. Varlala Villa is spotlessly, clean, comfortable, quiet and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. They only have 4 rooms. My room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. There is a kitchen for use with a fridge, kettle, tea, coffee and drinking water. Really enjoyed my stay."

They could have provided us with the next available room but the greedy management asked us for money or asked us to leave the property as if we are beggars. "Very bad hotels. Made to feel very unwelcome by reception as soon as we entered. No greeting just grabbed room keys and showed us room keys No towels in room. One room tv did not work and they couldn't fix it. My room no tv was there. I went for a walk and found exlir cliff main hotel got more information from gate security than from reception in our hotel was told about high tea which we were not made aware of. Asked for manager who wouldn't come to hotel until I demanded. His name Arun, very rude and arrogant would not listen to me blamed booking agent for everything until I said booking agent not uncharged of hotel, tv, towels etc. Did not offer any appology but walked away as I was speaking. Will never stay at this hotel again did not feel comfortable or welcome. Everytime I went to reception made to feel like I was troubling them. Breakfast at main hotel Exlir Cliff worst we had on whole tour got a better Breakfast on houseboat. Way to beach very dangerous but a guest from another hotel showed us an easier way to get back Hotel Luca. Don't waste your money sure there are better hotels."

"해변에서 도보로 몇 분 거리에 있는 위치는 기술적으로는 좋지만, 접근 방식이 매우 좁은 차선을 통과하고 제대로 배치되지 않았으며 웅덩이가 가득합니다. 방 자체(빌라로 추정됨)는 작고 비좁았습니다. 침대 디자인 - 9'x9' 벽돌 구조의 매트리스로 인해 사용하기 불편했습니다. 방에는 주전자 / 커피 메이커 또는 기타 작은 편의 시설이 없었습니다. 전체적으로 행복한 휴가 경험은 아니었습니다."

"지난 1월에 아내와 함께 갔는데 이번에 세 아이와 함께 또 갈 계획이었습니다. 숙소 관리자인 모하메드(Mohammed)는 우리를 위해 일을 매우 원활하고 쉽게 만들어주었습니다. 방은 좋고 깨끗했습니다. 장소는 해변과 매우 가깝고 시끄러운 음악과 사람의 통행에서 멀리 떨어져 있습니다. 이번에는 뒷건물에 묵었지만 개인적으로 다음번에는 앞건물을 더 선호합니다. 게스트하우스나 서비스에는 아무런 문제가 없었지만 일부 게스트가 밤새 시끄럽게 떠들어서 방해를 받았습니다. 우리는 숙면을 취할 수 없었고 동료 게스트의 시끄러운 음악과 소음 때문에 약간 불안함을 느꼈기 때문에 이에 대해 뭔가 조치를 취할 수 있었으면 좋았을 것입니다. 객실은 충분히 넓으며 앞서 언급한 것처럼 의심스럽거나 문제가 있는 경우 모하메드(관리자)에게 문의하세요. 나는 그가 당신을 위해 모든 것을 처리하고 당신이 멋진 여행을 할 수 있도록 할 것이라고 확신합니다. 그리고 집에서 만든 놀라운 아침 식사를 꼭 맛보세요."
