We stayed there in July 2023. We had a lot of issues with our stay, it was catastrophic! I think because the hotel was new and they had just opened when we were there. We arrived to the hotel very late because of our flight. The room smelled very funky! We tried to call down to the reception, but nobody answered us and we were already in our nightwear so we did not want to go down. The day after we told the reception to please clean the room or make the smell go away while we go out and they said yes. When we came back, nothing was done. The room still smelled very disgusting and also we had bought a lot of snacks and food so we wanted to use the fridge which was also broken. A guy came up to our room to fix the fridge but he couldn’t so he changed the whole fridge. He tried to flirt with me and my friend a lot even tho we did not want to talk to him. He didn’t get the hint when we said that we have partners. When he changed the fridge, it still didn’t work. So everything we had bought we needed to eat it because it would go bad otherwise. One day, we wanted to stay in because we were too tired to go out and do anything and this time the TV didn’t work. We called the reception again, and this time they answered, came up to the room and couldn’t fix the TV. When we checked out, I addressed these issues and they promised us that if we go there again they would fix a better rate for us as a compensation for next time. Me and my friend are going to Malta again and I have tried to contact the hotel with email but nobody answers me. And we feel tricked now! It’s not ok at all! We have already booked the new flight.
