Great location, just in the front of the Gletscher station. Super food. Renovated restaurant, bar and spa. Rooms partly renewed, but the older ones in great tyrolean style are bigger. Most rooms with the balconies with the Gletscher or valley view. Skiroom the the ground floor with boots heating and shelves dedicated for each room.

I stayed at Der Rindererhof for a ski week with my husband and friends, who had a health issue during our holiday. I can't praise enough the hotel staff, who were very attentive, helpful and caring. They made sure we had everything we needed, from medical assistance to extra items. They also arranged a special menu for my husband, who had dietary restrictions. The hotel manager even visited us personally to check on his condition and offer his support. The hotel itself is very cozy and comfortable, with spacious rooms, modern amenities and beautiful views of the mountains. The food was delicious, with a variety of dishes and local specialties, a true gourmet experience. The location is perfect, cannot be closer to the ski slopes on the glacier. We had a wonderful time at Der Rindererhof, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the Alps.

Excellent hotel. Lovely staff warm welcoming and helpful. The restaurant provides an excellent buffet breakfast with a fine selection. My favourites are the freshly squeezed orange juice, carrot juice machine, Prosecco and the pancakes. Every day they serve a skiers tea between 3.30am and 5pm which is always hearty home cooked delicious food and cake. The evening meals are also very impressive. The location is the main reason we originally started using this hotel. It’s so close to the gondola and you can ski right down to the hotel on the beautiful snow road. The is one bar near which closed at 8pm. There is no night life in hintertux. It’s all about the skiing.

Fantastic place. Clean and spacious modern rooms with a balcony. Gourmet treat in the restaurant. Personnel with care for details. The restaurant sommelier Eduard was absolutely to be recommended !!! Very well equipped and functioning sauna. Only downside is lacking a fitness room when the weather is bad…we were not very lucky with the weather Will definitely visit again.

Excellent place, nice hotel, very close to light to TUX mountain, excellent service and staffs very friendly, nice a delicious cuisine. We are coming every year to enjoy this wonderfull place and skying area

We have already spent our 4th family holiday in this wonderful family hotel. The hotel has a great location at the end of the valley right next to the entrance cabin to the Hintertux glacier. The rooms are spacious, equipped with everything you need, clean with a view of the Hintertux mountain or to the valley. Amazing and tasty breakfast with a rich selection, late lunch and a la carte dinners that will offer you a gastronomic experience. The food in this hotel is of a high standard, tasty and fresh. The hotel also has a new, beautiful and clean wellness area with saunas and whirlpools. A spacious ski room is available for skiers. Free parking right next to the hotel. The heart of this hotel is its smiling, friendly and kind owners (Family Krajnc) and staff. We are very satisfied with our holiday. I hope that we will be able to return to this hotel with our family next time.

I had a single room for three nights. The room was very clean and well equipped, with a big screen tv and a great bathroom. The wellness area was very welcome after a day of skiing, although as a Brit, the “textile free” nature takes some getting used to and is a negative for some. I know that Mrs S would not partake had she travelled with me. For me this should be a personal choice. I found the restaurant to be very good. All the food was first class and there were always many courses: typically - salad, starter, soup, main, dessert, cheese. Service was prompt and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, a good buffet including fresh juices. I thought their Bircher muesli was fantastic. Fresh eggs are cooked to order. Reception was always very helpful, they arranged my ski pass, advised on ski hire and ski school booking. The Ski Room is very accessible which is most welcome, so many ski rooms are hidden in basements. Each room is allocated a private ski locker. The location immediately next to Talstation Hintertux means that you are the closest to the lifts as you can possibly be. Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Would love to return soon!

I spent the New Year's holiday at Der Rindererhof Hotel in Hinterhux, and the experience was largely positive. The highlights included comfortable accommodation, excellent meal quality, generous room size, high cleanliness level, and spectacular views of the glacier. The hotel's location right at the base of the ski slope and gondola was extremely convenient, and the staff's friendliness was remarkable. However, there were aspects that did not meet expectations. The absence of a dedicated gym and a better-organized area for children was felt. Also, the spa area's atmosphere was not as relaxing as I expected, due to the lack of ambient music and strong lighting. A particularly positive point was the New Year's Eve dinner, which was exceptional and deserves a rating of 10 with congratulations. However, a minor but annoying aspect was the attitude of a waiter who, on the day of departure, charged an additional cost of 9 euros for three slices of bread with butter and cheese, which seemed unjustified at the hotel's cost and quality level. In conclusion, the stay at Der Rindererhof was pleasant, with a few minor aspects that could be improved.

Culinary Experience: The culinary journey was fantastic, featuring delicious tasting food crafted from high-quality ingredients treated with care and respect. Whether indulging in a 7-course gala dinner, savoring an Austrian-themed buffet, or enjoying seated 4-course menus, each dish surpassed expectations. The dishes were beautifully plated and well crafted. The homemade “Plätzchen” (Christmas cookies) at the reception were a delightful touch, and a good reason to pass by frequently. Service: The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, efficiently addressing our requests. They lent us walking sticks and two sledges free of charge, and assisted in organizing our outings, whether it was planning a thrilling sledging adventure or a scenic mountain hike. A noteworthy perk was their collaboration with Sport Nenner, offering a 10% discount at the ski rental shop. Overall, the staff’s commitment to service excellence, from lending equipment to organizing activities, made our stay truly enjoyable. Wellness Area: The hotel boasts a relaxing wellness haven, including a Turkish steam bath, three saunas with varying heat levels, two warm Jacuzzis, and a spacious relaxation area with comfortable deck chairs. The selection of teas and cold beverages, as well as apples added to the rejuvenating experience. Room: The rooms were clean and well-equipped, featuring a large TV, a water boiler, and tea. The bathroom, complete with an enjoyable rain shower, enhanced the overall comfort. Location: Perfectly situated next to the glacier lifts, the hotel is a mere 2-minute walk from the lifts, ideal for early morning starts. Additionally, the ski slope conveniently ends right at the hotel entrance. Green Bonus: We highly appreciate the hotel's commitment to sustainability, particularly their green traveling subsidy. Arriving by train is rewarded with free transportation to and from the Myrhofen station plus a 10% discount on room prices—a commendable green initiative! Improvement Potentials: While the experience was outstanding, I suggest adding proper shampoo and a good conditioner in the rooms to combat dryness caused by the sauna and winter air. Additionally, lowering the temperature in the rooms would enhance comfort, as it was quite hot (no temperature regulation option due to central heating). Overall, Hotel Der Rindererhof offers a great experience at a fair price. We left with fond memories and look forward to returning next year again!
