It is the one of the best hotels ever. Lake view is stunning. Hotel room and services are perfect. Bed and linens, bathroom are all very much comfortable and absolutely well-prepared. In addition, the breakfast buffet is the best of best. Highly recommend to all including honeymooners even.

We have been to plenty of amazing places, hotels, etc. and this place is now our top favorite. From the spa day, to the T Bar, to the nice touch of candies in the lobby, this place was extraordinary. The beautiful views this place offers is sure to impress you and set your expectations for other stays extremely high. The staff were all extremely accommodating and sweet, especially the girls who worked in the boutique and the spa. We will surely be back very soon!

One of the best hotels we have ever visited. Everything is perfect. Location, staff, service, the view, the pools. A true 5 stars on the shores of Lake Como. We have travelled the World, stayed in many nice places but Grand Hotel Tremezzo is unique. Thank you for making our stay memorable. We will be back soon.

This hotel is old school style, luxury and hospitality at its very best. The decor is perfection: bright, elegant, exquisite and not a hint of dullness, white or grey anywhere! The location is the ideal base to explore Bellagio, Varenna and Managgio as there are far less queues from and to Tremezzina than these. What really makes the Grand Hotel Tremezzo stand out is how special the staff make you feel. You are always greeted so warmly and they can’t do enough for you to ensure your every need is met. I don’t think I’ll ever stay anywhere as special as here again.

We have stayed in many great hotels. This is one of the best anywhere. The staff is very attentive, the hotel is beautiful, and the food is delicious. It is expensive, but worth every euro. Suggest you do the Lake Como boat tour with Carlo. Two suggestions: One, the spa is just ok. You are paying a premium for an ok experience. Two, the fitness center is terrible. Looks pretty but they have crappy equipment. Overall, this is an amazing hotel in a beautiful part of the world.

What a wonderful experience - amazing hotel with views, great property, excellent service from staff - wonderful hotel that should take diamond stars - it started by Carolina at the front desk who was exceptionally great - followed by every team member - at the restaurants Samuel was exceptional - Carlos was great during the boat trip - the view is breath taking - the room cleanliness and service was exceptional - I hate to leave but I must go back and work in Los Angeles ❤️❤️❤️ thank you hotel tremezzo

This is our third stay at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, first time in April. As always we had a fabulous stay! Special mention for the service we received at l'Escale Trattoria and the Terrazza Bar (Roberto and Vincezo, thank you!) We really hope to return in the fall or next year.

A truly grand experience! The rooms are beautiful with luxurious bathrooms of beautiful marble. The breakfast buffet is an amazing array of fresh fruit, charcuterie, cheeses, chocolates, and hot dishes including eggs to order. The staff is professional, friendly and helpful We especially enjoyed our full day lake tour with Captain Carlo. Vincenzo, in the terrace bar was so accommodating. Junga(spelling unsure) was a wonderful host in the terrace restaurant. We loved our dinner the first evening at the bar restaurant The entire concierge staff was very welcoming and helpful, especially Alex

The Grand Hotel Tremezzo is pure magic. From the stunning lake views and elegant rooms to the exceptional service and world-class dining, every detail is perfect. The floating pool, lush gardens, and luxurious spa make it an unforgettable experience. A true gem — I can’t wait to return!

BEST STAY EVER! I stayed here with my boyfriend in a wonderful room over looking the garden and it was really stunning! The Hotel and the Staff are beyond amazing! Best place for a romantic gateaway and recommend to everyone who wants to expeirence lake Como at its finest!

I stayed with my husband while on tour a few years ago. The Insight Tour this was our last stop 3-4-days we were guests at this beautiful stunning hotel before a short one-day trip to Switzerland. I see from other current photos it is still as stunning and a perfect place to choose on your own or be part of a tour choice of hotel. We had a front view balcony room in the far-right corner facing out the hotel. The room was very spacious, comfortable and waking up and opening the large window view every morning to a lovely morning fall mist and a fisherman in a small boat was like out of a Lake Como picture book. I had to practically pinch myself this was real. Also, a very short walkable distance to the left and we were able to take a quick scenic ferry ride over to Bellagio, there aren't words how beautiful and special the sites and scenery can be. The hotel ambience is magical and whether walking the grounds or to the rooftop pool, to having a nice place to sit downstairs with plenty of comfort rooms to explore, to walking the stairs and garden grounds, or weather permitting the relaxing rooftop swimming pool to sit, swim or just have an afternoon cocktail before dinner is heavenly. It is a wonderful spot of Lake Como, stunning views, well-kept, clean and first-class style in every way. From the hotel, staff and community area, I highly recommend anyone visiting this Lake Como area to consider staying at this posh elegant first-class style resort. If we were to visit again, I would not stay any other place and give this 10-stars out of 5.

I honestly thought that being the beginning of the season the experience would have been different then sunmer period. But we have been lucky with the weather and everything at the property was perfect since the arrival. T Bar has been an amazing experience, food and service have been great! We've had the good fortune of staying at the GHT multiple times over the past 25 years. Our recent visit was in celebration of 25 years of marriage, and the GHT was one of our honeymoon spots in 2000. We've been returning ever since. Much has been written about the lovely decor, view, etc. - and that is certainly all more than true. But what makes the GHT so special to us is the staff. I want to particularly mention Marcella - who keeps a smile on her face and exudes warmth, kindness, and professionalism, even though they keep her super busy! We never fail to feel completely welcomed by her and very much at home. She is a superstar at her job and a dear person to us. I wish I could list ALL of the many other staff who go out of their way for guests, but here are just a few : Anna, Alex, Marco, Federico, Manual, and Head Pastry Chef Adriano. And a shout out to Silvio for his always enthusiastic greeting and send-off when we arrive and depart. We had some unfortunate news from home during our trip, and Marcella and team showed such care upon learning of this and definitely helped us to smile through our upset. In summary, we always feel special as guests at the GHT, but our anniversary trip was truly made particularly special in so many ways. We can't wait to return.

Great hotel! Amazing views and definitely a most wonderful atmosphere. Lobby and staff are wonderful and kind. Great area to access the rest of the towns on the lake. Few things brought it down a notch though. 1. The rooms facing the lake are new, the ones facing the back gardens remind me of a stay at grandmas. 2. They won’t upgrade based on FHR although upgradable rooms are available. 3. Not sure why, but the concierge just gave us container bad advice of where to go. Very odd, considering they “know the area”. Best to use TripAdvisor! 4. They charged us for someone else’s pool bill. Realized after we got home. Would go back in a heartbeat. But manage your expectations and make sure to get a newer water facing room.
