Good location for town centre. Staff were super friendly and accommodating for an early check in. Parking available round the corner.

I had a good stay the food was good to I had a night sleep clean and tidy

The service was excellent and very good facilities. The food was also of a very high standard. I had a very comfortable night. The room was very clean and I would book at the Central Maidenhead Travel Lodge again.

I tryed to cancel my booking due to a family member passing away and they wanted to know personal information, so I never stayed here

On arrival you enter a lobby area then take a lift to the first floor to reception. Within the lobby area was an unattended bag which I informed reception about. The reply given was that it probably belonged to a homeless person as they tend use the space and leave things there. Immediately I was concerned as I had an early start the next day and would be entering this space alone at 5am. Fortunately no one was there in the morning but it did make me nervous as the lift doors opened. Anyone can enter this space which isn’t manned. I returned to the hotel at around 3pm to a guest opposite my room shouting and arguing with someone (I presumed on a call). I then went out and returned early evening. Music and loud talking was again coming from this room. The night got worse, hotel staff attempted to inform the guest of complaints. It would go quiet for a bit but then things just kept kicking off through the night. Other guest banging on his wall and door for him to stop. Police even visiting him. I called reception at 3am concerned for the safety of myself, daughter, other guests and the person from this room who seemed either mentally unstable or under the influence of something. Talking to himself and in a bad way. Due to poor phone connection reception was struggling to hear me, though they understood my concerns for safety still suggested that at 3am I visit the reception desk to discuss my issues!! There was no way I was leaving my room that time of night and walk down two corridors into a lift alone. In general, the hotel is noisy. We had a constant rumble from the noise of kids running about above the room. There was also a bulb which was flashing from another room which kept flashing on the ceiling of ours. The room was hot so we had to have curtains and windows open. These things I could pass, but with lack of sleep it just added to frustrations. The stay was booked to ensure I had adequate sleep for a long journey. This didn’t happen, I was nervous, scared and tired. Complete lack of empathy from the company, really disappointed. I didn’t check reviews before booking as I’ve stayed with Travel Lodge before without issues. However, I was intrigued to check once home, only to discover similar issues have happened here. I would take note of reviews before visiting this hotel and I’ve learnt my lesson to do so regardless of previous experiences.

Faisal and all the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Been here for a month and can’t fault them. Highly recommended. Would definitely come here again, 1 min walk from train station is also very handy. The rooms are to a great cleanliness and the Food isn’t too bad either
