"The location is a bit far from the reach because of the above but the service there is good friendly, there is a prayer room, there is a swimming pool, the price of bread is cheap, at night there is live music and market snacks at economical prices... the breakfast is also quite complete with a classic Javanese menu although there is a little modern in the omlet m the cakes plus juice, the lack of tissue is not provided in the room and the hot water is difficult as there is no air conditioning"

"I stayed here one night as part of an Intrepid group exploring Java. The rooms are on the basic side, but ok. The grounds are wonderful and many spaces are given over to growing herbs and vegetables. The ethos behind the place is excellent too. The staff were very helpful indeed and the food they provided for us buffet style was plentiful and delicious. After dinner, one of the staff explained the history of the Lodge and how to make the Sultan's 'Secret Tea'. If you decide to stay there, do take the time to explore the local village and enjoy the amazing views over the rice fields and marvel at the intricate water management system. Altogether, a good experience."

"1. The view is really nice and the air is cool. 2. Traditional cottage room model, semi-Dutch era building. Suitable for 3 people in 1 room 3. There is no AC, but there is a fan. There is no TV. 4. Additional plugs are provided because there is only 1 plug. There is a heater for boiling hot water and water that is put in a jug. (Recommendation if you want to stay overnight, bring your own mineral water, coffee and sugar). 5. Towels and 3 bars of soap are provided. (Recommendation to bring your own toiletries. Shampoo, brush and toothpaste are not provided). 6. There is a restaurant with an Indonesian menu and the price is quite cheap. (Rather than having to cook for yourself or looking for it far outside). 7. There are children's play facilities such as flying fox, swimming pool, very large garden, tents, gazebo, fish therapy pool. 8. Semi-outdoor bathroom so you can defecate while looking at the view. The hot water is not hot, just warm and not lukewarm."
