Just a couple who arranges to meet you, get your money, hand you the keys, and give you cursory directions. We almost were worried it was a scam. We had difficulty locating the owner and street parking. He became annoyed and abrupt when I had difficulty locating him."

"The B&B is just a 5-minute walk from the harbor. The room and bathroom were new and stylishly furnished. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning was unfortunately quite loud. The bathroom had a shower cubicle with a built-in hammam. It was very well equipped, including a coffee machine and plenty of glasses and other utensils. Everything was super clean. A very modest breakfast was served at a café a few meters down the street. The croissant was delicious, though. Parking was easy on the street nearby. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful."

The service went above and beyond on our first night there as we were given a ride to dinner when we were told that we would not be able to secure a cab. My one caveat is that if you are are arriving my car the driving and the parking can be quite tricky as Sotrani is located in the heart of the old city."

We were simply looking for somewhere to have a drink, but instead we found one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. Even though the bar was officially closed, the Direttore, Emanuele Bassi, went above and beyond — he personally opened it up for us so we could sample some of their local offerings. And my goodness, did we sample well! Emanuele introduced us to a stunning local red wine called Susumaniello, produced right here in Puglia. What a revelation — a bold, full-bodied red that glides over your tongue and down your throat like liquid velvet. Absolutely divine! If you find yourself anywhere near this region, do yourself a favour and pop in to see Emanuele. His warmth, passion, and hospitality embody everything that makes Puglia so special. And whatever you do, don’t leave without tasting that amazing wine! Five stars all around — an unforgettable experience!"

Parking is possible close (in 300 m) in the street, you need to pay approx 2 eur/half day. We loved the breakfast (sweet pastries), some fruit or salty thing would have been make us even more happy. The suite itself is totally renovated and designer with good taste and with hight quality. Francesca was very helpful and gave us the keys when we arrived (before the official c/i time)."
