"We stayed one night here during July 2023 and absolutely loved it. The gentleman at the check in counter was very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The room was cosy and delightful and the bathroom large and perfect. The window in the bedroom was double glazed so we didn’t hear any traffic during the night. We went downstairs and had a local wine sitting beside the wood burning fire then went into the dining room for a delicious dinner. The staff at the bar and in the dining room were friendly and efficient and our meal was perfect. Staying here is not cheap but we would class it as value for money and thoroughly enjoyable."
