Tired of staying in the chains? Want to try something different. The Parkview is old school and very nice. If it is important to the traveler, please note there is no breakfast. There is coffee.

The room was clean, spacious and warm. Parking was easy and convenient. The common areas were nicely decorated and clean. Front desk lady was friendly and inviting

Easy parking. Not as many accommodations. Pretty close to bars. Bed was not as comfortable as I’d like and comforter was pretty thin. Some of the furniture needed repair had paint chipping. Kind of an older looking hotel but overall pretty good and would stay here again

There was no coffee machine in the room so had to keep going downstairs for drinks. Only one nightstand, which was pretty annoying. The front desk staff were so nice and pleasant and helpful. Disappointed that the shuttle ended early as last time we were able to get a ride up to the University. No breakfast, but we knew that and had come prepared with snacks. Car parking was free and very convenient to park right outside the building. The rooms are looking a little tired but the bed was comfortable.

I have stayed at the Parkview several times. The rooms are nice and the whole facility is well maintained. I have two minor beefs... There was no coffee maker in the room. Most much less expensive hotels provide in room coffee makers, and I enjoy a cup in the AM without leaving the room. Also, the wall mounted HVAC unit was quite loud. I'm sure they vary from room to room, but it was quite noisy. I will definitely stay again. Nice place and attentive staff!

i always love staying here - i love this hotel, but this visit i was stuck next to the elevator , which was SO loud and kept me up at night- usually a great place to stay!

I will definitely be booking at the Parkview again for future visits to Syracuse! Easy to get to, extremely clean, extremely quiet, and the front desk staff were the best! (And it’s a very close walk to Syracuse University.)

The property was a great older style hotel. Large rooms and baths. Lot of little things detracted from stay. Simple things like no shelving in bathrooms. The parking in back lacked security. Had some problems with getting room cleaned and fixing clogged sink. Staff were polite when approached but did little to fix problems until "next shift".
