This charming 2 bedroom private home is located in a very quiet neighborhood in downtown Stuart just a few minutes walk to the river, restaurants and shopping. The house has been updated with a well equipped kitchen and newly refreshed baths. All of the sheets and towels are organic bamboo for maximum comfort. Speaking of comfort, there's a salt spa next door where guests receive a 15% discount on salt treatments. The house is also equipped with hi-speed Internet (WIFI) and a 65" Roku tv for streaming movies and shows. There's plenty of parking onsite, enough to fit a small boat and trailer and the boat ramp is less than a quarter mile away at Shepard's Park. There's a shop around the corner that rents bikes, paddleboards and kayaks. This friendly neighborhood has sidewalks and a well marked 'Healthy Trail' that meander's through the quiet streets and around the waterfront nearby. The City of Stuart offers a daily shuttle service as well if you prefer not to walk or bike. One of it's 12 shuttle stops is located less than 50 steps from the front door. The shuttle also offers a tour of downtown that is worth the ride. The beaches are less than a 10 minute drive away. The master has 2 closets. With 3 TVs (65” in main room) in the suite allows you to watch what you want too! Each tv has is own YouTube live subscription! The kitchen with brand new appliances is fully loaded with 2 coffee makers (one being Keurig) coffee is provided. We have a full pantry for plenty of goodies. We have brand new washer & Dryers in the suite as well. As for the bathrooms we a tub shower and full shower! The suite is full WiFi with at&t. We have made sure everting in the “OB” is done to fullest for you to enjoy your stay with us! There is street parking all around downtown which is 3 hour parking limit 8 am - 8pm. There are designated free parking a couple blocks away. There is a golf shuttle that can take you around town which is right out the front where they park at the circle. There is also a water taxi that you can take to see why Stuart is one of the top destinations for boating! I am available any time! Originally built in the 1880s and 1890s, the main streets of downtown Stuart are home to buildings of true old Florida character and charm. Built upon the remains of Stuart’s first railroad stop, the history and the determination of Florida’s pioneers shows through in the personality and style of the buildings. Cast through old Florida oaks and banyan trees, a walk down the main streets of Flagler Avenue and Osceola Street has the vibe of the small, quaint, and coastal town originally founded upon pineapple plantations and railroads. We took the opportunity for pictures and admiration of the architecture and history preserved in the beautiful buildings. Extending behind all of downtown’s main area is a boardwalk over the St. Lucie River, where one can spot dolphins, fish, and oysters. After a meal of downtown’s delicacies and a day of shopping, the Riverwalk is the perfect place to wind down after a day of excitement. A wonderful spot for a stroll, we timed it perfectly to see the sunset over the water, a view that is unsurpassed in beauty. On Sundays from 1-4 in the afternoon, a local concert rocks the Riverwalk with a different band each week. Seating is free, and vendors provide quick snacks while meals at one of historic downtown’s restaurants is always only a step away. Lit up at night, the Roosevelt Bridge stands over historic downtown and the river as the moon stands over the sea.
