The Uniontown Boat View Loft is an upstairs apartment situated directly beside the Oregon coastal highway 101 as it runs through Astoria, giving it an urban-industrial vibe, and close access to bars, coffee shops, restaurants, and the piers. The windows look over the 101, nearby businesses, the Astoria-Megler bridge, and the Columbia River, where barges pass regularly.The spaceThe space is comprised of a fully stocked kitchen, living room, bathroom, two king-sized bedrooms, and laundry room, which also contains an extra sleeper futon for larger groups. The back door leads to a small deck, with rear-stairwell leading out into a quiet, shared back yard space. Pets are welcome.Guest accessTwo off-street parking spots are provided for your use. While it is possible to access downtown on foot, we recommend guests headed downtown to get there via car, as it is a longer (approx 30 min) walk. It has a new mini split air conditioner with heat pump to keep you comfortable year round. The large bathroom has a brand new large tiled shower with a mural. The entrance draws you along a potted garden filled with bamboo, vines and ferns leading to a lovely shared covered deck area with seating and a fountain where you can unwind. The unit is through a gate and up a few stair steps from there with a cozy private deck, a café table and chairs.
