Lindner Hotel Speyer

Ich habe ein spontanes Wellness-Wochenende mit einer Übernachtung gebucht, da ich das Hotel vor einigen Jahren schon einmal gebucht und in guter Erinnerung hatte. Das Hotel eignet sich nach wie vor zum Entspannen. Der Wellnessbereich verfügt über einen großen und warmen Innen- und Außenpool, einen Whirlpool, mehrere Saunen sowie schöne Hamam-Bereiche. Zudem gibt es einen Whirlpool sowie einen Abkühl-Pool im Außenbereich. Leider war der Außen-Whirlpool nicht in Betrieb, was ich sehr schade fand. Zudem war des Spa-Bistro wegen Krankheit zwei Tage geschlossen - ebenfalls sehr schade. Im Gegensatz zu meinem letzten Besuch gab es als Abendessen lediglich drei Gerichte vom Buffet. Das Essen war gut, aber im Vergleich zu meinem letzten Besuch entsprechend eingeschränkt. Für 37€ pro Person ging das Essern inklusive Vor- und Nachspeise auch noch in Ordnung. Weiterhin ist das nette Tapas-Restaurant sowie die Cocktail-Bar geschlossen - ebenfalls ein großer Verlust. Alles in Allem hat es mir recht gut gefallen, wenngleich ich das Gefühl hatte, dass sich das Hotel von der Pandemie nicht vollständig erholt hat. Ich hoffe, dass sich die Situation wieder bessert und das Hotel zu alten Tagen zurückfindet.

We booked a suite for one night. They called us the day before saying the suite we booked was not available and they could give us something else. Fine. The suite was fine, even if not what we booked on their website. I advise the spa, if you want a nice week end with your partner, far from everyone and everything. But, I am a bit disappointed about the restaurant. They propose 3 starters. We asked for Salmon tartar and they did not have it. Even if (specified in the menu) with smoked salmon. The rest was not so great. We took the veg curry choice, and the fish.. among the main dishes. I guess that, if you have a so small menu, you should guarantee what you propose. Anyway, positive experience.

Two days away, not far from home, with service and facilities top notch. The accommodating options and attention to detail is unparalleled. Hotel staff is discreet, helpful, and there to make the experience easy and free of drama. Probably the best hotel experience I’ve ever had in Germany.

Great hotel with a smaller SPA, not crowded, great personnel!! Very good breakfast, wide choice of different styles. We had a good long weekend and will come again! The only negative comment would concern the Spanish restaurant - very long waiting for pre-ordered dish and a lack of choice for different dishes. The second restaurant had also a very limited choice.

The room, service, food, atmosphere, hospitality, exceeded my expectations by far. From someone who is in the food and hospitality industry, I was very much impressed by the overall experience. If I return to Prague I will stay here again.

We had some days to relax at the spa, the pool and spa is well maintained, our room was in the older part, nice an clean, nothing fancy, we missed an air condition, in summer the room was warm and with the lakes around you have good chance to get some mosquito bites. Good restaurant and nice staff. Easy 6km bike trail to downtown Speyer with two world heritages, you shouldn’t miss. Overall we enjoyed and will visit this place again.

The room was very disappointing with mold in the shower and a broken air conditioner. The inclusive dinner and breakfast was basically inedible and the service was non existent. When I mentioned how disappointing my stay was at checkout I was ignored. It was a hideous last night if our holiday. I would advise that you keep driving and do not stop the website is totally misleading.

Das Hotel ist großzügig angelegt und bietet mehrere Restaurants, alle mit sehr guter Küche. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und modern eingerichtet, ruhig gelegen und mit schönem Ausblick. Der direkte Zugang zu einem umfangreichen SPA-Bereich ist für Sauna-Liebhaber ein echtes Juwel, denn er bietet das beste "Schlecht-Wetter-Programm, das man sich vorstellen kann. Der Service im Hotel war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, auch Sonderwünsche wurden umgehend erfüllt. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Das Hotel bräuchte vor allem einen guten Koch und eine ausreichende Heizung sowie neue Teppichböden auf den Fluren. Leider nur ein komplett offenes Badezimmer! Parken nicht kostenlos und Wellness sehr teuer.
