Travelodge Oxford Wheatley

The hotel was a bit frayed around the edges, looked like it was over due a revamp. The staff however were fantastic. They were polite, kind, thoughtful, helpful and compassionate. The customer service was excellent.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Travelodge a few years ago so we had no hesitation in returning there. We got a very nice welcome from Dan at reception and that's always a good start. The room, the bathroom and bed were perfectly presented and were clean and fresh. Heat was provided by an electric radiator which kept the room very comfortable. The room was cheerful and bright and the decor was in good order. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well. I signed into the wi-fi service, no bother. Tea bags, coffee and milk are free at reception and there's also a machine there for snacks and soft drinks. The hotel is opposite ASDA and the Harvest restaurant next door is also very convenient and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Each time we happened to pass Dan at reception he asked if everything was ok and if we were enjoying our stay. There's a bus stop beside the Hotel and the service to Wheatley and further on to Oxford is very good. We enjoyed our stay and will stay there next time we're in the area. Paul

Clean & tidy, comfortable bed & pillows. Large car park. Friendly management & staff. Would recommend it. An ideal location for those visiting Oxford or the historic market Town of Thame. Waterperry Gardens is near which is definately worth a visit,

I was off to London from Ledbury in Herefordshire Oxford was convenient as only 50 miles to travel Monday morning 👍👍🌈🌈

Small cozy hotel, conveniently located close to a restaurant and supermarket, not too far from main road. We stayed for 2 nights to see some family. Jade in reception was very friendly, always shared a smile whenever we saw her, felt very welcomed. Thank you Jade! Will come back in the summer!

Flight from Spain to spend weekend in Oxford… as soon as we came Luli , Jo and Leoat resption helped us with checking in and gave us a lots of information about Oxford. We loved the blanhaim palece was very nice place to visit and it was very close to hotel and town

The stay was fine it served its purpose but the standard of cleanliness let it down. There was a thick layer of dust behind the bed, which as a cleaner, I know will have taken years to build up to that level. The bathroom floor was not nice at all and generally just needed a more thorough clean throughout. Plug points, light switches and skirting boards also had a fair amount of dust on, not what you’d expect from a hotel that should be being properly cleaned after each guest.

Pleasant one night stay Supermarket and restaurant on same site 2 min walk always helps Lovely nights sleep. Room adequate bath to small difficult to get on no good for older generation Would use hotel again
