"Wonderful hotel with stunning views overlooking the bay and with the best access to three beaches. Big Banana beach in front of the main hotel and Small Banana beach (the official nudist beach on the island) and Koukanaries beach where the water taxi can be found to take you into town. The rooms are spacious and fully equipped, the breakfast is to die for, so many options. The staff are lovely and there are several restaurants in and around the hotel. The Greek people are lovely and the service is absolutely great. Relaxing environment. Buggy rides to take you down to the beach and bring you back again as well as drinks on the beach and some very comfy sunbeds which are top quality. All in all our favourite hotel and our favourite beaches. Especially Small Banana (Black Swan area of Elivi) which is a quiet and relaxed beach full of really nice people, mostly nude but some clothed. Great service, great location and everything you could possibly need."

"Stayed for a long weekend with my daughter, the weather was particularly bad- it was cold,raining windy yet we had a glorious time once again in The Skiathos Princess. The warm welcome from all the staff of this beautiful hotel felt like sunshine ☀️ This was our tenth visit,superb breakfast and nearby tavernas. Back again next year !"

"On arrival we were shown to our room 113 . We were very disappointed at the size of the room .. small . When I asked George about changing rooms he said . Rooms allocated on arrival.. but I had emailed requesting a room with a sun terrace if possible. Told we can't move you . Things got worse when my wife tried to have a shower the water was FREEZING COLD .same for me. I told the girl on reception who came and had a look . Only to say I'll mention it to George in the morning.. in the morning I told George about the cold water. He came to our room and said oh you have to run the hot water in the basin first so it becomes hot in the shower. Supposed to be 4 Star plus hotel.. Breakfast was just average. House keeping well .. can only be described has builders cleaning didn't move a bin or chair to mop the floor . Water stain on mirror. Front door full of hand prints from us and other guests patio area never moped in 10 days .. plunge pool cleaned once in 10 days . Main pool only cleaned once .. grid around pool never cleaned. . . . Not enough sun bed . There are some positive points to the hotel. The location is fantastic. Young lad behind the bar very good. Clean towels in room and around the pool .. Best thing about hotel was the lovey guest who we met . Special mention to lee and nicola who made us laugh every day. And were kind enough to let us use there room for a shower before returning home . Due to no curtesy room . Overall disappointed with hotel. Not VFM . "

"We had a lovely stay in this hotel. Rooms were lovely and clean, cleaners were fab Staff are very nice and friendly, from reception staff to kitchen staff they were all great. Vaios was very helpful, driving us up and down to and from our room, along with the other driver who was also very helpful. Lovely hotel, lovely people. Would recommend"

"Stayed here for 12 nights with my husband.. lovely apartments with great maid service every day . Beds are comfortable and spotless.. the pool area is nice with towels provided and a bar area serving cold beers and drinks and snacks .. breakfast is plentiful.. the usual cereal , yogurt, fruit , cakes , croissants etc .. hot food like eggs .. little sausages, local bacon etc .. hot water for tea .. and coffee which does sadly get cold quickly.. cappuccino and latte coffees available to purchase. The steep hill from the port and town is a killer .. you have to get a taxi back .. you can walk down but back is hard .. the staff are wonderful.. can’t do enough for you.. and the housekeeper lady is so good ., cleaned our room every single day. I think if we came back to skiathos we would probably stay closer to the town .. otherwise we would definitely stay here again."

"Located in the center of Skiathos but on a secluded street, the room and common areas are excellently cleaned. Towels and sheets are changed daily. The room has a Nespresso coffee machine, convenient because coffee in Skiathos is a bit expensive."

"From what I can see, this place used to be lovely. However, it has since become run-down and not well looked after. The overall presentation of Azalea is very poor, the grounds are in complete disarray with items strewn around everywhere. The furniture is very dated but OK, the rooms were clean (ish). Beware - there are hidden costs to staying at Azalea which are not mentioned on any online booking platforms. €6 per day to use the air conditioning. When I refused to pay this extra charge (as air conditioning was listed on my booking confirmation as an included amenity) the owner became very angry and aggressive towards me. He began shouting at me in the middle of the road, waving his arms and pointing his fingers in my face. He demanded I come into his house to pay - I refused. He then also tried the same performance on my partner. This was very scary and intimidating as a small female. I can see why Yanni leaves these costs hidden, as he hopes to force people to pay them by using bullying, aggression and intimidation towards his guests at the end of the stay. The only redeeming factor is the lady who checked us in was lovely and seemed very distressed by her boss’s unacceptable behaviour towards us. The location is good as it’s opposite a beautiful beach and a small 15 minute walk to Skiathos town. However, very close to a main road so traffic may keep you awake at night. It is cheap but certainly not cheerful. I would really recommend scrolling past this one and finding somewhere else to stay. We have stayed in many places on Skiathos and this is the only time we have ever encountered any issues at all. Avoid, avoid, avoid! Skiathos has so much beauty, do not let a stay here take the shine off as it did for us. "
