"Overall disappointing experience. One of the elevators was down so each going to the room implied waiting on a line. Our shower was broken and soaked our clothes and towel in water. In the evening we wanted to have dinner at the restaurant and though it was 1/3 occupied they told us it's full and that the waiting time would be 45 min or more (On a Saturday evening). The staff didn't seem to be worried by the guests experience even though we clearly expressed it on our check out."

"I loved this place. We stayed at one of their cottages near the coast. It was small but nice. Comfy bed and a nice little patio with semi privacy overlooking meadow with wildflowers and the ocean view. The pool was smaller than I had anticipated and very cold so I didn't go in but I'm sure on a hot sunny day it would be lovely. I really enjoyed the location altho' the roads there are very bumpy and you need to be super careful. The surroundings were awesome - fort, great beaches both sandy and rocky, trails, farming countryside. For families it's great as they have lots of activities for young ones. Lots of animals. We had a nice breakfast but the hot food selection was lacking. Service was top notch. We also had a dinner there but it wasn't the greatest. I had pork and it came with some sweet potato puree. It was tasty but not a lot of food for the price and there were no green vegetables just some cold raw cherry tomatoes cut up and thrown on top. Bread was nice. Remember you have to pay for bread and water everywhere in Portugal. All in all we had a great time."

"We had such a special weekend at Cabra in Porto Covo. It’s one of those places that instantly makes you slow down and breathe a little deeper. The surroundings are beautiful — open fields, lovely trees, and the most incredible sunsets. The kids absolutely loved feeding and petting the donkey and the goats, which made the whole experience even more memorable. It felt safe, relaxed, and perfect for families. We spent our days outdoors, enjoying long, unhurried moments together — exactly what we needed. Cabra has a simple, authentic charm that makes you feel at home while still feeling like a true escape. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and genuine countryside stay in Porto Covo."
