"Overall disappointing experience. One of the elevators was down so each going to the room implied waiting on a line. Our shower was broken and soaked our clothes and towel in water. In the evening we wanted to have dinner at the restaurant and though it was 1/3 occupied they told us it's full and that the waiting time would be 45 min or more (On a Saturday evening). The staff didn't seem to be worried by the guests experience even though we clearly expressed it on our check out."

"Comfortable, spacious accommodation in beautiful countryside, has large well appointed rooms, shared family room space. Family owned animals on- site - deer, burro, horse - would be fun for kids. Excellent breakfast included, dinner menu also available and very good. Huge patio and pool, also tennis (winter so we did not use). Walkable to ocean/ beaches, 20 minute drive to Porto Covo or Vila Nova de Milfontes. Friendly, very helpful staff."

"Great family hotel. It's been years that I haven't seen a silimar setup. Beautiful spaces, nice materials from the construction,decorations, till the cutlery. The rooms are wide, clean and well lit. Up in the corner of the hill, giving quite time and privacy, but walking distance from the city. Very rare to see all the staff being genuinly politeand accommodating. The breakfast has everything in moderation, without creating unnecessary wasting food. All local, handmade and super fresh. If fed up of fake fancy, this is an experience you need. Tania, Greece"
