"First, the good stuff: the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom, while small, was clean and completely functional. I liked the contactless check-in and check-out procedures, although they are a bit unusual . However, there are two things I would point out to a prospective patron. The first is that this a motel at a hotel price. I can't really call that a complaint, just the reality of visiting a remotish mountain town that sees a lot of tourist traffic. But don't expect chain hotel amenities and service. The other was more of an annoyance than a real problem. The room came quipped with a modern, digital TV, but no remote to operate it , which made the TV useless. There are no manual controls. Overall, if you are just looking for an affordable place to stay while you visit Silverton, this property is a good choice and we recommend it with the caveats listed above."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The hosts are so friendly and very accommodating. Nancy will make sure you have everything you need and her breakfast is amazing. The place is beautiful, authentic and well kept. We got a great nights sleep too. It was nice to be in walking distance to everything but not in the middle of it. We will make this an annual trip it was so nice"
