The room, host and location are all great, and the other guests are friendly. Very good value. Fast and reliable WiFi, lots of restaurants in the area (and a big grocery store). Within walking distance of the city centre and pub street. Tours of Angkor Wat can be arranged with pickup at the guesthouse.

Super host! A wonderful house, the photos correspond to reality. Tomouyki helped with all the questions. The air conditioner worked well, close to the center. Feels like I’m at home. The location is in a safe place, quiet, there are no dogs, near a supermarket and ATMs. I recommend it)

The place has a really lovely, chilled vibe - jazz playing through the speakers, the cute cats lying by your feet, digital nomads and guests relaxing in the kitchen/garden space with overhead fans, and Tomoyuki mixing and fixing fantastic cocktails and coffees. We initially booked two nights and ended up stayed for over a week. Highly recommend!

We booked for two nights, and homeliest and loveliest place we’ve been to yet. So we ended up staying here for a week. I wanted to support the business making this post as a lil thank you. It’s a hotspot for digital nomads and backpackers. So we’ve managed to enjoy the ambiance of the place, work on our CVs and play the cats 🐱 Tomoyuki, the owner, has been so lovely to us . You can cook your own food or order one of Tomoyukis legendary drip coffees, cocktails and Japanese snacks. We also found out he cycled from Paris to Nepal at 27 years old… which also got me thinking 👀 It’s a great price, with great location(right by the park and river) and great relaxed atmosphere

My stay at Makers Guesthouse was great. Tomi is an amazing host and super helpful. They organized a Tuktuk-driver for me who picked me up at the airport. Checked-in with me regularly if everything was fine to make sure I was comfortable and not having any problems. I was also given wonderful recommendations about temples to visit or restaurants for dinner! The room was cleaned whenever I asked for and the location of the guesthouse is great too: Quiet, with everything you would need in, short walking distance, and the city centre is an easy walk away, too. I felt really safe there, too, and the wifi is great! I highly recommend a stay at Makers Guesthouse when you are in Siem Reap!
