Charming 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom private cottage is situated in a water community on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay. Take advantage of all the Chesapeake Bay has to offer during your stay. We have kayaks and supplies for crabbing. The home is located near numerous parks and marinas, with plenty of access to fun on the water, or hang out in the fenced in backyard, perfect for your dogs to visit with you. The home is also right across the waterway from two waterfront restaurants and a short drive to Deale where there are numerous waterfront restaurants and marinas.Enjoy the updated, soothing ambiance, back deck, firepit, gas fireplace, stand up arcade game, skeeball, kayaks, bikes and more. Perfect get away anytime of the year!The house has one bedroom and a full bathroom on the lower entry level. There’s also a washer and dryer on that level available for guest use. The second floor has two bedrooms and a second full bathroom. The primary bedroom has a door out to the back deck. Enjoy the outdoor dining table and gas grill.We have well water and despite having a filtration system, we still recommend drinking and cooking with the bottled water provided. A perfect getaway spot, on a peninsula on the West River just across from Galesville. Houses on the point are mostly waterfront and neighbors are friendly and quiet. Say hi or just enjoy the sunset from the porch or the dock. Kitchen is fine for cooking, though nearby restaurants in Deale and Galesville are tempting and Annapolis is only 20 minutes away. If you are a boater, the Bay awaits! Galesville is even closer by water and you can kayak to dinner. I love going to this peaceful place, and I hope you will too. The house is available at reduced rates during the colder months, a perfect spot for a sabbatical or writing that book.
