I was excited about staying in this new and modern hotel during my trip to Chile this month. I was ready to overlook the location- being far from the historic sites. The fact that the hotel is attached to a nice modern mall with a grocery store made it very appealing. However, the positive sides stop here, and I must mention that one of the doors, leading to the hotel from the mall wouldn't open- my card was working but the door was stuck. So, I had to go back 5 floors of escalators, exit the mall and walk into the hotel's street entrance- all this carrying a heavy bag with my purchases. The biggest shortcoming for this hotel is the Front Desk and the hotel’s concept that all guest’s calls have to go through the desk. And although the nice employees who work there try very hard, the desk is severely understaffed. I waited for a long time to check- in as there was only one person on duty. Someone else finally came to check me in. They say that the first impressions are very important and in this case they set the tone for my stay. Problems with logging into the internet( the employee who checked me in forgot to add me to the system) and the room TV that I had to solve right after I got into my room; even had go to the Front desk for because no-one picked up the phone. And all that after traveling for 24 hours and being very tired from my journey. This morning I again tried to get in touch with the Front desk for another issue, but again no one picked up the phone. I know that if I go to the desk I will have to wait for a very long time to be served only to be told that I need to wait in my room. Because of the many unlicensed taxis in Santiago, the hotel's staff told me at check-in that all trips should be arranged through- yes, you got it, through the Front desk! And what they do it reserve a vehicle and driver with a private company the hotel works with, for 4 times the price of a regular taxi. I used taxis a few times after that (the vehicles with the yellow roof), and didn't have any problems. So, it's the hotel that overcharges its guests with claims that all taxis in town are a scam. And yes, there is no direct phone for the housekeeping department, or for the restaurant, all calls should go through the Front desk, so expect that your call may not be answered on the first, or second try. The breakfast, although seemed plentiful and nice, is of a very low quality. The eggs were semi- raw, the quiche- a few days old. And so were all the pastries. The fruit consisted of a few chunks of what seemed like an old watermelon, wrapped in a small bowl. And at the end of each meal I was given a bill check to sign, even though breakfast was included in my room rate. What this meant was to urge the guests to give tip to the restaurant staff. My plans were to return for a few more days after I travel around Chile, but I cancelled my reservation and booked a different hotel. On the plus side, my room was large, the A/C worked well, beautiful

No comecinho agora de março/22 meu marido e eu nos hospedamos no hotel por três noites e foi tudo excelente! Nos deram um upgrade de quarto, que era enorme, super silencioso e com uma cama espetacular (quarto 413), muito confortável e grande (meu marido é comprido! rs). Desfrutamos bastante das áreas comuns, como piscina, jacuzzi (que tem uma vista linda da cidade) e sauna. Todos os funcionários muito gentis e prestativos! Inclusive um dos dias que estava muito calor e ficamos o dia todo andando pela cidade tivemos a grata surpresa de retornar para o quarto e o mesmo estar já ambientado com ar condicionado pelo time de camareiras. A localização é ótima! Fizemos tudo a pé e de metrô por lá devido a essa facilidade e por ser uma região que nos sentimos super seguros. Recomendo muito! Único ponto de alinhamento de expectativas é o café da manhã, é no estilo americano e não de buffet, então com opções mais restritas, mas mesmo assim tinha tudo o que julgamos ”essencial”, então de fato não é um ponto ruim, apenas de alinhamento de expectativas. Não afetou em nada nossa impressão da estadia no hotel e voltaríamos com certeza.

O Hotel não é excelente, mas é bom. Pelo preço, considero um excelente custo-benefício. O café da manhã não tem muita diversidade (como na maioria dos hotéis do Chile), mas é muito gostoso! A localização do hotel é excelente, bem próximo à Av Providência, e a poucos metros da estação de metrô Los Leones. Próximo a restaurantes e cafés. Eu ficaria novamente no mesmo hotel se voltasse à Santiago.

The location, the rooms, the people, are customer centric. Great place for business people, and also for someone just wanting to enjoy the Costanera Shopping center, and the multiple restaurants in Providencia. 다른 나라의 좋은 대륙간 호텔과 비교할 수 없습니다. 밤에 도착하면 마지못해 프론트 데스크 서비스. 수하물은 저희가 직접 맡아드립니다. 프론트 데스크 서비스는 다음날 훨씬 좋았습니다. 목욕물은 밤에 뜨겁지 않습니다. 고객센터에 전화해서 수온이 이 정도라고 하더군요. 나는 밤에 샤워를 하지 않을 것이다. 다음날 아침에 다시 전화했더니 누군가 뜨거운 물을 끓이러 왔다. 아침 식사는 좋습니다. 늦은 저녁시간에 도착해서 다 마칠때까지 도움이 오지 않아 짐을 직접 처리했습니다.샤워수는 미지근했습니다.서비스가 방에 와서 고칠 수 없었습니다.이 방법이 있어야한다고 우리에게 말했습니다. 그래서 그날 밤은 샤워를 하지 않았다. 우리는 두 번째 아침에 전화를 걸었고, 누군가가 와서 물을 샤워 온도로 설정했다. 프론트 데스크는 두 번째 아침에 훨씬 좋았습니다. 아침 식사는 꽤 좋았습니다.

흔들리는 시작 후 상황이 훨씬 좋아졌습니다. 나는 높은 층의 방을 요청했지만 건설 현장이 내려다 보이는 낮은 층의 방을 받았다. 내 아 코르 신분이 인정되지 않아 환영 음료를 요청해야했습니다. 우리는 그 다음 아름다운 도시 전망으로 17 층으로 옮겨졌습니다. 우리가 처리 한 나머지 리셉션 팀은 매우 도움이되었습니다. 그들은 우리의 발 파라 (Valpara) 로의 환승을 주선하고 늦게 체크 아웃을하도록 도와주었습니다. 우리는 뷔페 식 아침 식사, 특히 오믈렛을 주문했습니다. Reuben was incredibly gracious and helpful during our stay. He went above and beyond any customer care service I have ever experienced in the hotel industry, or any industry for that matter. During my career over the past 30 years I have stayed no less than 150 nights a year in hotels. You need to clone Reuben, or at least use him to teach other managers how to emulate his professionalism.
