알코 호텔 코토나(Alko Hotel Cotona)

Hotel is clean, quiet and the staff are attentive. Located in a convenient location in the centre of Santa Marta close to the seafront. Excellent food in the rooftop restaurant and close to many great restaurants if you want to venture out.

We stayed here before and after our 4 day hike to La Ciudad Perdida and it was perfect. Located closely to several bars and restaurant, clean room, friendly staff, nice breakfast,.. They stored part of our luggage while we were on out hike without any charge. After the hike, they did our laundry and returned it within 24 hours.

We originally only had a reservation for dinner at the rooftop restaurant & bar, La Guacharcha. This turned into a 3 night stay because the whole atmosphere was so wonderful. The service was phenomenal and the receptionists were amazing and so helpful. Many of them also knew great English which made things very easy for us. We felt so safe and taken care of. Huge thanks to the staff, what a beautiful hotel.

A clean and spacious room with all necessities, good service from the reception (thanks Carlos for receiving us). Breakfast was great with delicious foamy chocolate, even offer cayeye (a local breakfast).

I truly enjoyed my stay at Alko Cotona. The bed was suuuuper comfortable, the room immaculately clean, location is perfect (right by main drag for eating and drinking as well as only a few minutes from the beach!) — rooftop pool and restaurant/bar also great, with a view of the ocean/marina on one side and the mountains on the other. Most importantly, the quality of service and hospitality at Alko Cotona hotel is truly outstanding. Every staff member I encountered went out of their way to make everything perfect for me — Damaris at the bar/restaurant, Oscar at reception, and particularly Carlos, who was the shining star of my stay. Carlos helped me arrange everything I needed and went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. He helped me arrange buses, taxis, and even checked with my hotel in Cartagena to make sure my booking there was in order. With his helpful attitude and impressive command of English, he is truly an asset to this entire operation. I am so grateful and highly recommend this hotel! Thank you, Carlos!!

Espectacular, desde que entramos sentí el descanso, el cuarto de la cama son de lo mejor, no pude quedarme más tiempo pero sin duda volvería una y otra vez con ellos. Gracias ALKO cotonas por abrirnos las puertas del hotel y recibirnos a mí y a mi familia. La comodidad y la atención son inigualables.

Petit mais très agréable. Le service est excellent de la part de tout le personnel. Du check-in au check-out . Toit terrasse avec piscine, bar et restaurant climatisé. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. 2eme séjour dans un hôtel de cette chaîne et pas déçu. Près du Parque de los novio, plein de restaurants à quelques minutes de marche. Au coeur du centre historique.

Excelente hotel, el lugar para el desayuno es muy lindo. La atención de todos fue excelente. Muy buena ubicación. Se preocuparon para que tengamos una muy buena estadía. Hasta nos prestaron un adaptador para corriente electrica,
