Our stay at Das Post Hotel was absolutely wonderful – we truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We came by car and were able to safely park it at the property. We also didn’t need it for the rest of our stay as we just took the train to the Kitzbühel ski area, which was a convenient and scenic ride of just 15 minutes. After an exciting day on the slopes, we could enjoy some amazing food in the charming town or hotel itself with local flavors that were simply unforgettable. The highlight of every evening was for us definitely the spa – we made sure to unwind there every night, and it was the perfect way to relax after a day on the slopes. The hotel also offered an incredibly extensive and delicious prepared breakfast from which we could just not get enough! We just couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We definitely will be coming back!

What a fantastic place! Located in St Johan (about 15 minutes from Kitz)is a luxury winter paradise. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The rooms are modern and have every amenity you could ask for. If you are looking for luxury outside of the Kitz scene this is definitely the place!

What can I say. We booked here for Christmas Eve.. amazing! The food, atmosphere, and service were fabulous! We had the nicest time and wouldn't hesitate to book here again. We had 5 courses, superb wine, and our young daughter loved it too. Thank you for such an incredible Christmas Eve.

We stayed there as a family with two rooms for a week skiing. The hotel in lovely. Probably wasn’t right for us, as a little fancy, but it’s very nice. We didn’t go into the bar at all, it’s not really a bring your kids with you kind of place, I had an image (before arrived) or sitting around a fire playing cards, but it’s a trendy bar so for us, it just wasn’t the right fit. The rooms are lovely, very very nice beds, so comfy. The breakfast buffet was lovely but it would have been nice to have the pancakes served warm. We only discovered by accident half way through that we could order any hot drink at breakfast (cappuccino etc or kids hot chocolate) so it would have been nice if we knew that , communication a little poor. We were also disappointed that the spa is no swimsuits) and feel this should have been flagged more clearly on websites for non Austrian tourists who don’t know the norms!! Restaurant staff as too fancy for us and our kids so we didn’t try it…So essentially we paid for things we didn’t use (bar, restaurant, wellness centre). But it all Looked lovely and if I came without 4 kids in tow it would be super so just not the right place for us. I felt the information given on arrival was poor, we specifically asked for some local recommendations for restaurants and were given none. Other than to be told that their restaurant was the best. Ok that’s fine but can you also please tell me some recommendations?! So I spent alot of time googling and trying to find stuff out myself. We found out ourselves that there is a fab pool in the town, for free. Hotel didn’t tell us. I think there was probably lots of other things we just didn’t find out it so I think they should have more information in the room on locality, tips etc. lovely hotel, I’d recommend to a couple but probably not for a family. But each to their own!

We stayed at the Post hotel during the Kitzbuhel FIS World Cup weekend. The hotel is conveniently located in relation to the St. Johann in Tirol train station. Like most area hotels, Post provides a train pass to its guests for free local travel (up to Worgl), quite convenient for getting to and from Kitzbuhel. Rooms are comfortable and clean, with modern minimalist decor.Buffet breakfast is quite good. The hotel bar and restaurant are lively.
