Very happy with our stay at Sporthotel. Our bedroom was spacious, clean and had stunning views. Food and service in the restaurant was fantastic. Lovely gardens to relax and have a drink. BBQ held one evening was an extra bonus. Location is fantastic. Just a few minutes walk to the mountain cable car, which brings you up to the Kitzbuhel horn, 15 mins walk to the train station and less than 10 mins to the town. St Johann in Tirol is a nice sized market town, plenty of shops, cafes etc.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel as the base for our Great Rail Journeys holiday Our stay was excellent: food, the room and service were all first class. Sonia and her staff were very attentive and we would certainly recommend this hotel Location was excellent for looking around St Johann. It was ideally located for touring the Tirol area

Nice hotel, service is wonderfully. Nice staff . We got a very warm welcome , we arrived very early in the morning ( as where check in time was3 PM. They offered us free breakfast and they made our room ready Sanja is a star, she is smiling and friendly and you miss her when she is a day off Location is great , city and train , skilift all walking distance Great wellness area ! And 5 course diner every evening !

The food was amazing with how many courses there are and the extra cheese and bread boards are great. How friendly the service is was great. The scenic views have to be a must go and how quick and easy it is to get to the town from the hotel. The train and bus is very affordable and not far from the hotel so you can easily have a day out somewhere else in the district and even go into the city and not just staying in the town.

Great location, fabulous food, staff are lovely. Have stayed a few times and we really enjoy this hotel, Amazing area for skiing and hiking chilled relaxed and safe. it is very welcoming and has great facilities. Will definitely return for Winter or Summer 2025/2026!

Our first time staying at the Sporthotel. Clean, spacious and well appointed. We were on the top floor and never waited too long for the lift to consider using the stairs! Our double room was spacious enough and had a balcony, wardrobe with safe and en-suite bathroom. The room was cleaned every day and the sheets were changed midweek. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. Cereal, fruit and yogurt aplenty with bacon sausage and eggs as well as hams, cheese and pastries galore. At 15.00 après ski snacks are free in the bar every day. Sandwiches, soup and cake are served. Evening meals are from 18.00 Salad, starter, soup, your chosen main course, dessert and cheese. There is plenty of food and we found it to be of a very high standard. Drinks are very reasonably priced. There is a swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Guests are enthusiastically encouraged to observe the sauna dress code. Downstairs is a ski and boot room. The hotel is 400m from the main gondola.
