Having indicated a early check in on my reservation, I arrived at 2 pm. Desk clerk was less than friendly; behaved as though I was asking for a special privilege, and curtly denied me checking in early. Once I was allowed to check in, I had to switch rooms because the first room hadn't been made up. But I noticed that the room needed some serious upgrade - carpet was very worn, the furniture was old, scratched up/beat up, and the bedding was old, as well. When I got into the second room, it was the same - old beat up/scratched furniture, extremely worn carpet, stains on the easy chair, and a broken curtain that couldn't be closed because of it being broken. In addition, all the lamps in the room were very old and beat up. There were about a dozen places on the lamps and furniture where dried food and/or stains had not been cleaned.
