빌라 라라 호텔(Villa Lara Hotel)

Hotel Villa Lara is simply wonderful! Our room was beautifully appointed and cozy, and the staff was very friendly and attentive to make certain that our stay with them was perfect. We very much enjoyed the breakfast that was served each morning in the lovely dining room, and there was a well-stocked bar for cocktails in the evening.

A recent three night stay at Hotel Villa Lara was a delightful experience in Bayeux. A boutique feel with attendant advantage of guest recognition was the foundation of an excellent experience. Design of hotel, guest rooms, lounge, dining area, small shop all complement the vibe at this clean, safe and well-maintained property. The hotel is within walking distance to shopping, restaurant/cafes, historic sites. My guest room was fabulous totally chic, and staff gets high marks for helpfulness and attitude.

From the welcome, to the service, to the exceptional room and beyond the Villa Lara was the best travel experience anyone could ask for. If there is a "Travel Blessing" this was it. What a fabulous hotel. The welcome was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was well decorated, clean and spacious with a very comfy bed. The bar area was beautiful and breakfast was lovely. Situated in the centre of Bayeux its convenient to access bars and restaurants. We would definitely recommend and will hopefully return soon.

Some of the best and friendliest service we have ever had. From the moment we walked through the door we were made to fell welcome and that continued throughout our 3 night stay. Rooms are spotlessly clean and décor is excellent. Whilst the hotel does not have a restaurant, the superb hotel bar was a great place to start and finish an evening and there are lots of good restaurants within 3-5 minutes walk from the hotel. Lovely building and location but it is the service and atmosphere that really makes Villa Lara special.

The staff and the facilities of this hotel are simply outstanding. My husband and I stayed for 4 nights. Every single interaction we had with the owner and his team was amazing. You are greeted with a warm smile and offers of assistance every time you walk into the lobby. Our room was beautifully decorated and perfectly maintained. We were so sad to leave and we were headed to Paris! We travel often and this hotel is one of my all-time favorites. I cannot wait to return.

Hotel was nicely situated in town, close to Cathedral and points of interest. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very nice and breakfast was varied and well done. They gave suggestions as well as directions for where to eat, sites to see and directions. Definitely recommend for a stay in Bayeux.

Bayeaux is a lovely town with many historic sites within walking distance and nearby. We found the staff fantastic - everyone went out of their way to help us feel like we were family - not just customers. See D-Day, Mont Ste Michel, Tapestries, and Bayeaux Cathedral.

The property is five stars. The rooms are large and uptodate. The Owner is on site and his team are 100 stars. We had a few issues with our travel agent but Philip the owner and his team made all the problems disappear. I never write recommendations but here i have made an exception.
