Until this year I had only ever briefly visited this place to access its tea rooms where they serve incredible cakes however on Christmas day we went here for a meal. The food was absolutely incredible and the service was great at a table of 14 the staff was friendly and quick to serve us. unfortunately i have never stayed as a guest at this hotel but i can imagine that it would be great considering the beautiful scenery!

The Hotel is a WOW The staff are amazing, Paul and Paula, head the team, simply outstanding, Fran,Jay,Irene,Juan Carlos,just to name a few of the crew, They all really do go the extra mile,to make your stay the best it can be. PAUL & PAULA TO THE RESCUE :) We should have gone home yesterday (Monday) due to bad weather conditions all ferries cancelled Sunday/Monday Paula made sure that we could continue with are room without any hassle, We are in the suite great views from the balcony. The seafood linguine … excellent The fillet steak … to die for Sunday lunch…very popular with the locals possibly need to book due to high demand. Cake/desserts… Well lost count how many absolutely great display, You may need to bring larger size clothes to go home with, Yes they are that good.

Lovely hotel away from the hustle and sort of bustle of St Peter port .. our room was excellent and the staff were the same .. breakfast was very good .. evening meal a bit pricey but all I can say is you get what you pay for, me and my wife were very happy with that.. bus outside hotel 1.50 to wherever .. 2 minutes to a fantastic coastline ..first time to guernsey but for me it’s like cornwall without the tourism and tat.. if you want McDonald’s, Burger King . Uber , Deliveroo and nightclubs don’t bother .. if you want to chill .. do it .. we left some stuff behind and the hotel were happy to send it home .. excellent service .. Will definitely be back

Myself and my wife have just returned from a 4 night break. Location stunning with spectacular sea views. Coastal walks and bus stop immediately outside hotel. Rooms spotless. Facilities outstanding. Food top class. Staff could not do enough to guarantee a perfect stay. Fran went above and beyond to help us in every way; and always with a lovely smile. We would love to return and would not hesitate to recommend.

Clean, fairly comfortable, but lack of little niceties in the room that you’d expect from a 4 star hotel, ie. no glasses, bog standard shower gel and shampoo only, awful teabags and no biscuits ( much to husband’s disgust!).Good sized fridge in room. Rooms are very dated and lack any personality. A couple of staff were fantastic, others surly. Breakfast was ok, but some soft and dried fruit would have been nicer instead of plums and tinned mandarins. No one available to check out with or ask if we’d enjoyed ourselves, just a drop box for keys. Whole place felt very impersonal and lacked hospitality to us. It’s pay as you go for dining and drinks hence no settling up to do at reception which I suppose helps with staffing which is difficult everywhere these days.

We recently stayed here and have to say our experience at this hotel was faultless. All of the staff were very good but special thanks to Fran. Nothing was too much trouble she was excellent! The food was brilliant and had a great sleep as so quiet. We highly recommend and will return. Thank you.
