'호텔 내부는 다소 피곤해 보이고 복도는 험악하고 넓은 동안 우리 방은 매력적이지 않았습니다. 욕실은 비좁고 디자인이 좋지 않았습니다. 깨끗하고 깔끔하고 직원들이 어려운 시설과 주변환경으로 최선을 다합니다.'

'The place is nice and clean and convenient too. Easy to park your vehicle too. Has a nice view over the hill too.'

'The hotel I was originally booked in had a flood so at the last minute I had to find another one, I found  Arkale lodge and it didn’t disappoint, the rooms are pretty basic, but extremely clean which  in my book is more important than a fancy room. And certainly good enough for the price I paid, the gentleman that showed me around was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was from 7 which was perfect for my continuation of my Hadrians wall walk. The Breakfast was included in the room price and was exceptional (full English, which I easily adapted as a non meat eater)  It was plentiful, delicious and freshly made. And a great start to my long tiring day  Thank You so Much  For your kind hospitality  Cathie :)'

'We stayed in Carlisle for a couple of nights. The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the station and close to the city centre. There were a lot of pubs and restaurants close by which was convenient. The hotel was clean and comfortable.'

'Stayed here with daughter for the start of the Cumbria Way walk. Arrived by train and it's literally right outside the train station entrance.top marks for location Twin room. Large bathroom with bath. Some may say room is dated. For price excellent . Weatherspoons for food around the corner - less than a 10 mi s walk Friendly staff filled our water bottles before we set off for our walk. All in all met all our requirements. Also for information it's dog friendly too. For £50 for night (deal if booked train ticket through trip.com got discount on Hotels.'
