For those wanting to head back to Rotorua, it is only a 10-minute drive. The property has car parking for 5 cars and a boat. There is a lock-up shed for 5 mountain bikes. Great Spot Brilliant spot! Be prepared to climb some stairs and there is plenty of parking for a boat but depending on size you may need to back up the steepish drive because there is not a lot of room to turn it around. Owners were awesome and very accomodating.

Lake Okareka Getaway The property has everything that you need to enjoy a weekend away (or a week). It has amazing views to enjoy a cuppa in the morning on the deck. Great base and close enough to Rotorua for groceries and activities and far enough away to have a tranquil spot to enjoy.

Outstanding location The location was gorgeous. Great amenities and valuable folder of local information. Photos of all the kitchenware and where it should be put and numerous signage re not taking the books a bit sad. Why not have a shelf for 'book swaps' as well as 'do not take'
