Great Spot Brilliant spot! Be prepared to climb some stairs and there is plenty of parking for a boat but depending on size you may need to back up the steepish drive because there is not a lot of room to turn it around. Owners were awesome and very accomodating.

Lake Okareka Getaway The property has everything that you need to enjoy a weekend away (or a week). It has amazing views to enjoy a cuppa in the morning on the deck. Great base and close enough to Rotorua for groceries and activities and far enough away to have a tranquil spot to enjoy.

Outstanding location The location was gorgeous. Great amenities and valuable folder of local information. Photos of all the kitchenware and where it should be put and numerous signage re not taking the books a bit sad. Why not have a shelf for 'book swaps' as well as 'do not take'

A wonderful getaway Beautiful location, convenient to all the fun of Rotorua but feels miles away. Private escapism and great to relax with all the fun a very short drive away.

A beautiful, well-appointed bach Fabulous 180-degree panoramic views - the photos just don't do it justice. 10 mins drive to Rotorua for restaurants / grocery shopping etc, so very convenient. The only thing you need to bring is a portable heater. We stayed in July and the weather was very cold, and the heat didn't travel to the two smaller rooms. There are also a lot of bach rules and instructions everywhere, so you need to be ok with that. That said, it was a very comfortable stay, hot tub under the trees with a lake view was amazing, the two larger beds are very comfortable, and heavy curtains made the rooms nice and dark.
