This is a beautiful place, we recieved a wonderful treatment from the staff, ate some delicious food, the place is clean and well taken care. The pools are exactly what we wished for... A really refreshing experience. It is a breath of fresh air! Definitely a place to go to for a weekend away!

We were very disappointed. We wanted to celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary there and looked so forward to it. We paid R3400 for the 2 nights in a chalet !!!!! On arrival, we saw that there was only 1 chair in the room for 2 people. There was no other place to sit except the bed. The sliding door of the balcony could not open. There were 2 bath towels, but no hand towels or a bath mat. We asked for more milk as there were only 2 little sachets. Nothing happened. I won't recommend people with a mobility problem to go there. The surface around the place is very uneven, slippery and a lots of steps (stones). An accident can happen very easy. We were so disappointed, that we decided to cut our losses and left the place an hour later. One thing that I must admit, is that the staff was very friendly, specially the receptionist.

this lodge is amazing it has great housekeeping and very friendly staff I would recommend to enyone and the rooms are soo spacious it just like a dream its was just amazing I would recommend to every on who wants a rest of home and have a great experience with friends and family

we booked for the Christmas buffet yesterday. The buffet should come with a first come first serve or while stock lasts warning. THEY UNDERCATER then blame it on the guests. THEY ARE DISORGANIZED. I forgot to take a picture of what was supposed to be a Christmas lunch. It was the worst Christmas my family and I ever had. We were told that we'll be told when to go and dish , some serving dishes were empty by the time were got there. We waited so long that they were serving dessert by the time we were dishing the main but most of the dessert was also finished but silly us thought they would refill. My mum saw what was happening and advised us to get our dessert at the same time... THERE WERE NO DESSERT BOWLS OR SIDE PLATES FOR CAKE so we couldn't. By the time they got bowls they only had Malva pudding left . We addressed this as we paid for the full menu. The only response were got was sorry. Just imagine our kids seeing others enjoying cakes and other lovely treats and standing at the dessert table waiting for over 15 minutes for a bowl to dish fruit salad in. It was beyond disappointing
