Hotel recently renovated so facilities are clean and new. Rooms: Some very poor interior design choices for the family suite such as bunk beds placed directly in front of the door guaranteeing that you bump into it each time you enter, and zero overhead lighting near said bunk beds to ensure your kids are scrabbling around in the dark looking for the light switch (more bumped heads!) We had a leaky flush tank in one of the toilets; while it was reported to the front desk who diligently noted the complaint, nothing was done about it. So we lived with a large puddle of water on the floor of the toilet for 2 days. Service: We visited during a busy long weekend in May which was apparently our big mistake as the hotel staff reminded us: the restaurant was full each day as well as the parking garage. There was absolutely no consideration or priority given to hotel guests, even though we are clearly paying for the cost of maintaining the restaurant and the garage in the price of our hotel room. It was near impossible to find a decent restaurant or parking nearby — and the hotel’s laissez-faire attitude to our troubles frankly negated the benefit of a 4 star hotel - we could have just as well picked a 3 star hotel without in-house dining or parking!! Breakfast was decent with a good spread, literally the only bright spot in a completely average and forgettable stay, definitely do not recommend.
