"Don’t go there. The hotel is old and falling apart and they’re not doing anything about it. Planks coming apart, dust on the carpet, mold in the shower. In the shower there was only one bottle of cheap soap, no shampoo nor conditioner. Our room (203) had a shared door with another room, and it might as well have been cardboard for how much we could hear the other guests’ conversation."

"This is my idea of hell. I was expecting an idyllic small cottage on the banks of the lake for a couple of nights relaxing after the drive from Tadoussac. What we got was a small cottage (number 14) for disabled guests, 20 meters from a busy dual carriage-way, and next to the car park. Any views of the lake are obscured by the surrounding cottages….not that you can access the lake as you’re situated on a cliff edge. I’m writing this with the deafening noise of passing traffic in the background. No sleep tonight. I have no concept of how anyone could write a review complementing this accommodation. If it wasn’t so late in the evening I’d have turned around and left. As it is, I’m out of here in morning when the sun rises. I’ll let the travel agent sort out the details and I may end up out of pocket but it would be worth it to put this place in the rear view mirror. I’ve never been more disappointed in accommodation. Avoid, avoid, avoid."
