Aphrodite White Studios Lindos

Excellent hosts. Fabulous views. Nothing was too much trouble. I cannot recommend highly enough. Brilliant base for the town centre. Very Greek apartments but spacious, well equipped and very clean. Close to all facilities. Will definitely be staying here again.

Pros: - Perfect location for access to beach and main square - Daily housekeeping and regular bedding and towel changes - The girl working on the reception desk is really friendly, approachable and helpful - Free WiFi, aircon and safe - Beds and pillows are really comfy Cons: - 3 plug sockets are located one either side of the bed and one by the door, meaning there are none in the kitchen for using the kettle and none near the mirror/dressing table area - No toaster in the self catering kitchen - Shower head doesn't stay properly attached to the wall. Sliced my hand trying to reattach it. - Air con broke on second to last night. Reported immediately the following morning and was told it had been fixed. Went out for tea and drinks and returned to find it was not fixed, resulting in being unable to sleep due to the heat. Reported it again but was still not fixed by the time we left, despite paying for late checkout for a room that was consequently too hot to use. - Cockroaches. We saw the first (enormous) one crawl from the drain in the bathroom during the night. Assumed it to be a one off as the rooms are older. Same thing happened again 2 nights later, this time the cockroach came from under the fridge. Reported it the following morning and was told the room would be sprayed. Had no further incidents until the morning we were due to check out, when we found another cockroach wandering around the bathroom.

Great apartments, handy for the beach & the square! Well kept, clean & tidy! Could not fault the staff at all! Great outside space at our rooms which was just lovely! Wifi, aircon and safe all free to use too!

Location is excellent close to Square and beach although quite a steep hill from the beach which some people wouldn’t manage. Free safe and air conditioning. Having said that on day 3 the air conditioning unit was dripping water on to the bed. Reported it was told they would send someone but it continued like that for the remainder of our holiday. My partner had to sleep in spare bed. The door to the bathroom would not shut and handle broken. The bathroom is next to kitchen so I found this a problem with hygiene. There was a large stain under my bed. Towels changed regularly and apartment cleaned daily. I’ve given a high rating due to location. Apartments need updating. You need to bring tea towels and dish cloth. From the photos the apartments look as if they are all detached they are not.

Lindos is an amazing place to visit but was spoiled by apartments greed and lack of support. Bed broke the first night was told to wait in someone will come to fix t they arrived at 19:30pm wasted a full day. On the day of leaving our pick up was 20:30 to take us to the airport we were told for 30 euro we could have the room until 17:00 which meant standing outside in temps of 38c with nowhere to change or our suitcase to have the room a extra 3hrs they charged a extra 60 euros this place is robbing people
