Pros: nice breakfast, comfortable bathroom, quiet location with easy access to downtown, the bed was actually quite comfortable. Cons: hardly any staff, very poor communication, almost no storage or space for stuff/luggage (definitely not for longer stays). The room was quite basic, there wasn't even a bin - only a tiny one in the bathroom. I wouldn't stay again.

Non sono molto convinta del soggiorno in questa struttura. La camera era discreta: carino il bagno, molto più anonima la zona notte. Il centro non è vicinissimo: a piedi ci si mette circa mezz’ora. Vero punto debole, per noi, è stata la colazione: un po’ misera e cibi caldi assenti. Non so se fosse dovuto al fatto che ci siamo presentati alle 9.00 nella sala colazione, quindi un’ora prima della chiusura del buffet, ma onestamente questa è la prima volta che mi capita di imbattermi in un’offerta così poco ricca. Erano rimaste solo un paio di torte e alcuni affettati (dall’aspetto non dei migliori) e formaggi, e un po’ di melone tagliato male in un piatto. Lo yogurt, così come il latte, erano contenuti in appositi cartoni semi vuoti abbandonati a loro stessi. Da un hotel ci aspettavamo di più, soprattutto per il prezzo pagato (180 euro in due per una notte). Il personale con cui ci siamo interfacciati per caso (il check-in si fa autonomamente) è sempre stato cordiale, ma quando tornerò a Reykjavik penso sceglierò un’altra sistemazione.

The rooms were too small. The room shade to darken the room didn't work. Not enough space for suitcases. It was frustrating that someone wasn't always at the front desk.

VORSICHT Kundentäuschung! Wir haben das Appartement gebucht. Eine Nacht für ca. 165€. In der Beschreibung wurden nur Bilder der Innenausstattung gezeigt. Was bewusst NICHT gezeigt wird, ist WO sich das Appartement befindet. Laut Beschreibung hat man den Eindruck, dass sich das Appartement IM Haupthaus mit separatem Eingang befindet. In Wirklichkeit ist es das Nachbarhaus, genauer gesagt in der dortigen Doppelhaushälfte im Untergeschoss. Dieses kann auch nur über einen Kellerabgang erreicht werden. Beschrieben wird es als behindertengerecht. Das ist die nächste Frechheit! Dieses Haus ist äußerlich in einem desolaten Zustand. Ich habe entsprechende Bilder hochgeladen. Die Fenster waren dreckig und es hat muffelig und abgestanden gerochen. Wie den sonst, in so einem alten Haus im Keller! Die darauf erfolgte Konversation über den Booking-Chat findet immer nur mit sich abwechselnden Gesprächspartnern statt. Alle blieben sehr uneinsichtig und beharren darauf, das alles seine Richtigkeit hat. Wir haben daraufhin ein anderes Hotel buchen müssen, denn das Appartement war unzumutbar! Nach langem hin und her über Tage hinweg wurde uns ein Rabatt für die nächste Buchung angeboten. Das ich nicht lache…

The rooms are well equipped and the breakfast was good. Unfortunately we'd a very horrible experience because of an overbooking. In the middle of the night (around 4 am) another guest was crashing in our booked room while we were sleeping. We woke up and were really shocked! For this reason it was the worst night in our holiday. We couldn't sleep in this night anymore. The hotel was sorry but just via a few sentences by e-mail. That couldn't repair our bad night in the hotel for this extremely shocking moment. So it's a bit risky to book a room in this hotel because an overbooking should really not happen in a hotel especially without receiption! By the way: the toilet was not clean at the check in :-(

Nice rooms, clean and comfortable beds. Everything simple but functional. Free parking if front of the hotel. Close to the city center and touristic activities such as Blue Lagoon and Whale Watching tours.

Parking available around the hotel. Simple breakfast included /toast, no pastries.

Nice modern hotel for youngsters and travellers. Simple but sufficient breakfast. Sloppy coffee. Nice rooms, specially the more expensive once with terrace in the basement. Really. First they gave us room #203 and alike but first night we did not sleep because of 30C with open small window and blower. Not good at all. They know it is a construction error next to the heating pipes. Watch out!! Location of hotel is okay. Buses are a walk though. Some fast food restaurants near by. And a proper supermarket
