아르못(Ármót Guesthouse)

This place was beautiful and so cozy. If you want to stay in a quaint area with beautiful views and a charming atmosphere this is the place for you! The breakfast was delicious the horses on site were gorgeous and the hosts were so kind. It was one of our favorite stops on our travels.

The cottage is so cozy and nicely decorated. Very nice interior and appliances provided. Would be nice if a clothes dryer is provided too. Love the serene farm surrounding, with the Icelandic horses running around. Away from traffic noise. Will come back in the future.

Lovely rooms in a quiet & beautiful setting. Wish we could have spent longer seeing the horses & using the telescope. The host took into consideration our request to have both family rooms close together. The breakfast was amazing and the chef was able to accommodate our daughter’s vegetarian diet.

High quality room in a wonderful scenic, rural location. Couldn't ask for better. Check in was easy as our keys were waiting for us in the lobby.

Beautiful location and lovely guesthouse on a nice farm. We arrived pretty late here around 10 PM and our stay was ruined by by wet sheets for the sofa bed. I msged the property and they did respond by offering to give me directions to where I can go find alternate sheets. Being very exhausted, just wanted to eat dinner and goto bed. Tried to adjust by using the extra comforter as a sheet but when we went to bed past 11, found that was wet as well. Had a horrible night sleep as we tried to shuffle sleeping arrangements. They did offer us free bfast for the inconvinience but wasn't able to make use of it as we had to rush to the airport in the morning. Overall the only place in our almost 2 week trip around Iceland that was not great. In general, it could be great place and maybe our experience was an anomaly but for the price we paid was not at all satisfied with our stay.

Very comfy beds, lovely lounge area. Amazing views. Lots of flies in the summer....cover food at breakfast, net in room to stop them.coming in. Road leading to location....no tarmac the one way, very rough for cars.

Lovely place with anazing views. Room was spacious and modern. Beds very cosy and comfy. Problem with flies in the summer...too many flying in the room and breakfast area. Fly spray needed and cover food over to stop flies landing on it. The road leading.....one road quite gravely....for 8km once off route 1.

We were concerned by some of the reviews but the unit was really impressive. It has a full kitchen with everything you need. The horses were very friendly to interact with too.

Quaint guesthouse on a real Icelandic horse farm. We stayed at the apartment, which had lots of space, full-stocked kitchen (although we could not find silverware!), and bathroom. It was lovely to wake up to horses roaming free outside our window. The breakfast was delicious and appreciated. We'd stay there again as it was convenient on our road trip.
