This place was so terrible that we slept in our clothes and did not get a shower due to not wanting to use the towels. The carpet in the room had snail trails on it and the room had mould growing throughout. The bed covers were damp and the whole place felt unclean. There was a smoke detector which had no batteries and initially the owner forgot to give us a key to the room. Check in was at 4pm but the room was not ready for an other hour as the owner said he was 'cleaning it'. Outside, the 'gardens' were overgrown and just outside out door was a pile of vomit. It is no where near anywhere in walking distance and you turn off a duel carriageway to reach it. 2 couples who checked in when we did seemed to leave immediately, lucky them!

According to the well-known adage, "You get what you pay for," one would reasonably expect a commensurate level of quality based on the price paid. In light of this principle, my expectation would have been that the cost for my stay would not exceed £15. Regrettably, I must admit that I have encountered more favourable accommodations at youth hostels in the past. The room in which I stayed was plagued by dampness and emitted an unpleasant odor. Furthermore, the carpets were visibly unclean, and the condition of the bathroom left much to be desired. To mitigate potential issues, I took the precaution of running the water before entering the shower, which unfortunately dislodged fragments of dirt that fell into the shower basin. In light of these experiences, I strongly discourage individuals from selecting this particular establishment as their lodging option.
