'Reaching zostel kolad is fairly easy its a 3 hour journey from either mumbai or pune (drive from pune is really scenic. Zostel is located on the banks of kundalika river. We need to cross the river to reach zostel and zostel provides a ferry service for this, which also a unique experience. It is a beautiful property with clean rooms, outdoor sports (badminton, volleyball & cricket, indoor activities (table tennis, carrom and etc) and amazing restaurant. Zostel kolad particularly lights up after 7pm. There are multiple activities organized by zostel every night involving dance, music, drinks and lot of food. Truly, it was an amazing experience making me want to extend my stay (unfortunately they were fully booked. Ps: book your stay a month early. They sell out very quickly particularly on weekends.'

리리뷰어Radha's Cottage is a lovely retreat, very well located at the end of the road in Matheran. It's a simple place, furnished largely with period furniture. The food is outstanding - the best I've had in 6 weeks of traveling in India. For those who are unfamiliar with Matheran as I was, a couple pieces of information: - The ”toy train” runs very infrequently. Be sure to get a schedule if you plan to take it from the parking. - It's a 4.5km walk from the train station near the parking to Radha's. Don't believe the stationmaster if he tells you it's a 20 minute walk, it's an hour's walk. - It's still another 1.5km from the train station in the village to Radha's. If you've got a bag it's probably a good idea to get some help from a porter. - Sometimes the electricity goes out. When we stayed, these outages were brief, just a minute or 2. - Sometimes the water in the bathroom is dark brown. This surprised us one morning. It's dirt, and cleared during the course of the day.

리리뷰어This is a historically important location in Matheran. Ratheesh and his business partner were so welcoming and helpful and the accommodation is so full of character. For a truly “green” and unique stay in a totally unique location, the Verandah in the Forest is absolutely a must. This is undoubtedly the place to stay in Matheran if you can get a room - would suggest booking early so as not to miss the chance to stay here - and is so much more than a hotel. Food was superb and because of the size and layout, never seemed busy. Quiet and relaxing stay. As there’s no phone signal in Matheran Hill Station I’d suggest contacting Ratheesh before making the ascent to the hill station for location instructions. There is wi-fi at the Verandah in the Forest.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional, making check-in smooth and efficient. The room was spotlessly clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed, including fast Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and a spacious bathroom. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet—plentiful, fresh, and offering a wide variety of choices for all dietary needs. The hotel also had great amenities, including a well-maintained gym and a relaxing spa area. Its location was ideal, within walking distance of major attractions and public transportation. The only minor downside was some noise from the street at night, but it didn’t significantly affect my sleep. Overall, I’d highly recommend Radisson Resort Khopoli for both business and leisure travelers. I would definitely stay here again!

리리뷰어Have no words to describe this wonderful resort. We celebrated our 20th anniversary at oleander farms. It lives upto the hype of being a premium and upscale resort. The spacious rooms and pristine environment and clean surroundings really add great value to the overall experience. Food especially the breakfast is amazing with good variety and is delicious. The newly opened spa also is a wonderful experience. Restaurants salt t & common house are always crowded but the in-house brewed beer and selection of vintage wines were great to taste. Lastly, the food menu offers european, pan asian and indian cuisines with limited menu options are expensive but they really match up to the taste and quality of ingredients used. Overall our experience was amazing and we shall surely recommend anyone looking to come here and pamper themselves.
