I recently had the misfortune of staying at a certain hotel that left me utterly disappointed and dissatisfied. My experience was marred by abysmal service, ongoing renovation work, and rooms that were far from accommodating. I feel compelled to share my ordeal to warn others who might consider booking a stay at this establishment. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the hotel staff had no interest in providing a pleasant experience. The receptionist was indifferent and unhelpful, barely acknowledging my presence as she checked me in. Her lack of professionalism set the tone for the rest of my stay. To make matters worse, the hotel was undergoing extensive renovation during my visit. I was unaware of this fact when making the reservation, as it was not disclosed on their website or during the booking process. My assigned room was a nightmare. The furniture appeared worn-out and outdated, desperately in need of replacement. The AC wasn’t working properly, the washrooms were wrecked. It is clear that the management prioritizes profit over guest satisfaction, and until they address these issues, it is best to avoid this hotel!

Excellent , ambience is super, staffs are very cooperative, rooms are spacious with sea view, foods are delicious, with clean big pool. Best Hotel in Puri.

Over all facilities are good but room service really needs lot of improvement and resonance time is really frustration. Front desk experience is excellent split Suresh ji. Food also to be made more rich in options. Veg and non veg to separate mention in menu.

We had recently organised our event here............excellent hospitality, very good food quality. Rooms were good................ Guests felt good about it Services were extremely prompt...... everything was well coordinated Hope to visit again......

I usually do not post any reviews. But i was so so frustrated that i could nt stop myself from posting this.. This resort is good for nothing. Absolutely rude floor manager, sales manager. Rooms service is horrible, water logging in rooms. Room services take ages to attend even after calling them multiple times. They argue for anything and everything. Different managers talk about different room charge calculations. There is no standard price. Everytime the threaten to call police without listening to customers. Even food part of complimentary breakfast is not good. It breaks my heart, that my family trip went for a toss for nothing.

Overall a disappointing stay at The Chariot 😞😞 No private beach as advertised. Beach area practically in accessible from the hotel.. Isolated n deserted beach area.. probably a safe haven for the antisocials.. break fast spread was underwhelming.. very limited options.. whatever was prepared was not done well.. food was not warm.. hospitality unsatisfactory Geyser in the room not working.. had to call the reception again and again.. amenities in the room were not good. Location wise very far away from the main beach area and Jagannath Temple.. auto fare too high as the hotel is located almost at end of the Marine Drive. Food was horrible.
